Two-day seminar on life and works of V.J.P. Saldanha in Mangaluru
The Sahitya Akademi is organising a birth centenary seminar on the life and works of V.J.P. Saldanha (Khaddap), eminent Konkani novelist and journalist, in collaboration with the Konkani Institute, St. Aloysius (deemed to be university) and Vision Konkani, Mangaluru, on August 13 and 14 here.
The seminar will be held at the Robert Sequeira Hall, St. Aloysius (deemed to be university), said a release.
As part of the seminar, the Akademi is organising a book exhibition cum discount sale till August 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Sahodaya Hall on the St. Aloysius campus. Books in Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Marathi, English and Hindi will be exhibited.
