Celebrate Latin Canadian cinema with CBC
Calling all film lovers! CBC is a proud partner of the 23rd annual Vancouver Latin American Film Festival (VLAFF) – North America's largest and longest-running Latin American film festival, running from September 4-14 at various Vancouver venues.
The 11-day festival features the largest selection of Latin Canadian cinema, with over 70 short and feature films from 15 countries in 9 languages, and 18 films by Canadian talent.
This year's festival introduces four new sections: VANGUARDIAS, showcasing innovative Latin American films; MIGRACIONES, highlighting impactful Latin American migration stories; MEXICO TODAY, offering a diverse view of Mexico's landscape; and ¡CINEMA PARA TODXS!, a kid-friendly selection with a visual art workshop.
