If you didn't think so, Chmerkovskiy's latest TikTok video might just have you sold… Yesterday (August 10), the DWTS pro shared a TikTok video at the airport with his wife — fellow DWTS pro Johnson — going through security together. Although going through security at the airport is pretty standard, in the video, Johnson is seen getting evaluated by the TSA worker while Chmerkovskiy pans over to the screen. With a red square around her nether region, said screen shows that Johnson's crotch area is what needed further investigation. As if that whole airport fiasco wasn't funny enough, the caption is what sent fans into a frenzy, comprised of just two emojis: '💣 🐱' Needless to say, fans had a field day in the comment section. 'Okay Val, you win #1 caption,' one fan wrote, while another added, 'LMAO THE CAPTION??? 😭' A third exclaimed, "VAL I'M CACKLING," summing up the sentiment of a majority of viewers. Regardless of the setback, it is safe to say that both Chmerkovskiy and Johnson made it to their destination safely, with the latter posting an Instagram reel on the plane captioned, "OMG I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!! NYC ✈️ Paris," later in the evening. Dancing With the Stars pro , 31, married fellow pro , 39, in April 2019, and they welcomed their son, Rome, in January 2023. In a new interview with First For Women, Johnson talks about a bad breakup in 2015 that left her at "rock bottom," but then she met her husband — and she reveals the cute and surprising first impression he made. "When your heart is broken and you feel crushed and hit rock bottom, you're most vulnerable," said Johnson of when she went through her breakup 10 years ago. "I had to learn to truly love myself for who I am."But then she met Chmerkovskiy and it was "love at first sight." "I thought he was hilarious," said Johnson, adding, "I'd never had someone be so blunt, and it was so refreshing in the best way." Johnson also said that their son loves to sleep in their bed, so sometimes her morning "starts with giving kisses to both my boys," which is a great way to start the day!" The professional dancer also revealed the six words that have completely changed her self-esteem and self-image."Growing up as a dancer, you're in front of the mirror 24/7 and staring at every inch of your body. I was always obsessed with the number on the scale," said Johnson. But she has come to realize that she doesn't need "a certain number on a scale to feel good about [her]self." "We all have so much to offer — I value that I'm an artist and a mom, and I love to be creative. We all deserve self-worth and we all have inner superpowers," said Johnson, adding that "it took years" for her to "love and believe in [her]self." Johnson said the book Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It by Kamal Ravikant was life-changing. Now she repeats his mantra to herself several times a day: "I love you. I love myself." 🪩 🪩 "It also inspires me to ask, 'Do I love myself? Do I appreciate my body?' When I'm going through a low point, I reread that book and check in with myself," said Johnson. The 12th annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards are being handed out tonight at the Beverly Hilton, and Deadline is posting the winners live as they are announced. Check out the list below. Dancing with the Stars stars and spouses Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson are hosting the ceremony, where awards will be presented in 23 categories spanning makeup and hair styling artistry in motion pictures, television, commercials, music videos and live theater. A new award will be presented for the first time. It is Broadway and International Live Theater Production: Make-Up and Hair Styling. The Academy Award went to Poor Things, which was up for two of the guild's awards but went home empty-handed. The only other year was in 2022 when The Eyes of Tammy Faye won the Oscar but was shut out at the MUAHS. Maestro and Saltburn were the big film winners at the 2024 MUAHS ceremony, each taking home two prizes as Barbie won for Period Hair Styling and/or Character Hair Styling. MUAHS also is honoring several with career awards tonight.
