Vic Chou would love to reunite with F4 members
6 Jun - Amid rumours that F4 is set to reunite for their 25th anniversary next year, Vic Chou recently admitted that he doesn't have any information about the event.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer-actor, who was a part of the group that first debuted through the hit 1999 drama, "Meteor Garden", said that while he has no idea about such a reunion, he hopes that it would be possible.
"Every year, I would hear about such opportunity and every year people would approach us. So, I do hope it will work this time," he said.
Asked if such a reunion will be a possibility next year, Vic said, "I don't know. I think maybe I have my own expectations for F4. If you just want to make money, then don't look for me specifically. I hope there is some proper planning."
As to why the reunion never happened despite them being approached to do so every year, the actor said that the four of them are being managed by different agencies.
"I would get asked about reuniting and I would always say that it would be great. But then they will tell me that they will come back to me when there is an idea, but in the end nothing happened. It's like this every year and there is no correct answer to the question," he said.
Vic Chou, Jerry Yan, Ken Zhu and Vanness Wu became an idol group F4 following the success of "Meteor Garden", which also co-starred the late Barbie Hsu. However, they disbanded in 2009, only to reunite again at the 2013 Spring Festival Gala in China.
