Khanapur: Nirmal District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav said that the government's goal is to provide ration cards to everyone who is eligible. On Wednesday, at the Sattenapelli Gram Rythu Vedika in Khanapur mandal, the local leaders along with Vedma Bojju Patel handed over new ration cards to the beneficiaries. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the new ration cards granted by the government have become a boon to the poor. A total of 1,669 new cards have been issued in Khanapur mandal and the names of family members have been included in 2,532 cards. She said that fine rice will be distributed to the beneficiaries from next month. If there are still eligible people left, they can apply and the issuance of ration cards will continue as a continuous process. It was revealed that a total of 4,201 new cards have been sanctioned in the mandal so far. The Collector said that 1,352 new ration cards have been sanctioned for Dasturabad mandal. Later, MLA Bojju Patel said that people have faced many difficulties due to the lack of sanction of new cards for the last ten years. He said that schemes like pensions, farmer loan waiver, and Yuva Kiranalu have not been sanctioned to the eligible ones due to the lack of cards. He said that currently the government is successfully implementing schemes like interest-free loans for women, Mahalaxmi free bus, 200 units of free electricity, gas for Rs. 500, and Aarogyasri.

Khanapur: As part of the Vana Mahotsava programme, MLA Vedma Bojju Patel along with officials, teachers and students planted saplings at TTWRS Junior College in Utnoor mandal center on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that along with the goal of increasing greenery in the State, trees are being planted to increase the forest area and provide environmental stability. He stressed that trees are very important to reduce environmental pollution. He called on everyone to plant saplings around their surroundings. Various saplings should be planted on government and private offices and school premises. Officials, faculty, students, Congress party leaders and others participated in this green drive.

Khanapur: Local MLA Vedma Bojju Patel on Saturday submitted a petition to the State Tribal Welfare Secretary Sarath Kumar and Finance Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultaniya in separate offices in Hyderabad, requesting immediate release of pending bills worth Rs 16,43,87,000 related to the construction work of houses constructed by PVTGs Kolam, Thotilu, Chenchulu and Kondaredlu ITDA CCDP in the joint Adilabad district. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said said that the PVTGs had built houses on loans and requested that the funds be released quickly. Later, Kumar and Sultaniya responded and said that they would work to ensure that the funds are sanctioned within a month.

Khanapur: The government has sanctioned Rs 1 crore to develop the Amar Veerula Stupa as a tourist destination and the work has almost reached the final stage. 'The memorial garden will be opened soon,' said Khanapur constituency MLA Vedma Bojju Patel. On Saturday, he paid homage to the Amar Veerula Stupa in the Indravelli mandal centre. Later, saplings were planted as part of a programme organised under the auspices of Horticulture. The development work being done at the stupa was inspected. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said, 'As per the promise made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the government is making special efforts to beautify the Martyrs' Stupa.' He said that the families of the martyrs have been provided with house plot documents. He said that he will talk to the CM to further develop the Stupa.

Khanapur: The State government is implementing the Indiramma Indla scheme with great ambition to fulfill the dreams of the poor to own their own homes, said MLA Vedma Bojju Patel. The MLA handed over the sanction documents to Indiramma Indla beneficiaries and performed the groundwork for the construction of houses in Ginnera village of Indravelli mandal and Hirapur (J) village of Utnoor mandal on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that the welfare of the poor is the aim of the state government. He made it clear that Indiramma houses will be provided to every deserving poor person. He said that the development of villages is possible only with the Congress party. He said that the state government is working for the people of the lower classes. He said that the welfare schemes being implemented by the state government should be taken advantage of. Officials, Congress party leaders and others participated in this programme.
