WWE NXT results Feb 19: Ricky Starks is now Saints, mystery attack shocks NXT

WWE NXT returned to the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida, on February 18, delivering a night filled with high-stakes matches, shocking confrontations, and a cryptic ending that left the NXT Universe on edge. With fallout from Vengeance Day still lingering, new contenders emerged, rivalries escalated, and a major AEW star officially made his WWE debut. Oba Femi Responds to Vengeance Day Victory Fresh off his dominant performance at Vengeance Day, NXT Champion Oba Femi opened the show to celebrate his hard-fought victory over A-Town Down Under. Standing tall with the championship draped over his shoulder, Femi addressed the NXT Universe, declaring his reign far from over. However, his moment of triumph was cut short when an unexpected guest arrived—TNA's Moose. The two heavyweights engaged in a tense face-off, hinting at a potential crossover battle that could shake the NXT landscape. Karmen Petrovic Wins No. 1 Contender's Triple Threat Match Karmen Petrovic solidified herself as the next challenger for the NXT Women's Championship after outlasting Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan in a hard-fought triple threat match. Petrovic's determination was on full display as she secured the victory, but her celebration was short-lived. Fatal Influence stormed the ring, ambushing her in a brutal post-match assault. Before the attack could escalate further, NXT's newest acquisitions—TNA's Jordynne Grace, NJPW's Stephanie Vaquer, and STARDOM's Giulia—arrived to even the odds. Zaria & Sol Ruca Defeat Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson In an action-packed tag team contest, Zaria and Sol Ruca scored an impressive victory over Meta-Four's Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. Ruca's athleticism proved to be the deciding factor, as she executed a picture-perfect Sol Snatcher to secure the pinfall. The win cemented Zaria and Ruca as rising forces in the NXT women's tag division, while Meta-Four was left frustrated at another setback. Ricky Starks Signs WWE Contract, Becomes Ricky Saints One of the biggest moments of the night came when former AEW star Ricky Starks officially signed his WWE contract, rebranding himself as Ricky Saints. The NXT Universe erupted in excitement, but the moment quickly turned confrontational when Ethan Page interrupted, accusing Saints of securing an NXT Championship opportunity in his contract negotiations. Before tensions could boil over, Wes Lee stepped in and challenged Saints to a match next week, setting the stage for a must-see showdown. Shawn Spears Defeats Stacks in Heated Grudge Match The rivalry between Shawn Spears and The Family reached another level as Spears battled Stacks in a fierce singles match. Stacks, looking to avenge recent setbacks, fought valiantly, but Spears' cunning tactics secured him the win. With Izzi Dame's shocking betrayal still fresh, The Family continued to struggle to find their footing, while Spears celebrated another statement victory. Eddy Thorpe Overcomes Andre Chase Amid Distraction Eddy Thorpe added another win to his record by defeating Andre Chase in a highly competitive match. Despite Chase's resilience and the support of Chase U, a ringside distraction proved costly, allowing Thorpe to capitalize for the victory. However, Thorpe's night wasn't over, as Trick Williams appeared post-match, issuing a warning and vowing revenge for past altercations, ensuring that their issues are far from settled. Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer & Jordynne Grace Win Six-Woman Tag Match The newly formed alliance of Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and Jordynne Grace proved to be a dominant force, overcoming Fatal Influence in a thrilling six-woman tag match. The battle was intense, but Grace delivered the decisive blow, pinning Jazmyn Nyx to secure the victory. As the dust settled, all six competitors exchanged intense stares, making it clear that the NXT women's division is more competitive than ever. Mysterious Message Shocks NXT Universe Just when the night seemed to be winding down, chaos erupted backstage. Ava stumbled upon a disturbing scene—Mr. Stone had been attacked in her office, left unconscious with a chilling message scrawled on the wall: 'No One Is Safe.' The cryptic warning sent shockwaves through NXT, leaving fans questioning who was behind the assault and what their true intentions might be. With the show ending in mystery, the road to next week's episode promises more questions than answers.

WWE NXT star Roxanne Perez dishes on CM Punk's mentorship since his return

CM Punk shocked the pro wrestling world when he appeared at the end of Survivor Series in 2023. It was his first WWE appearance in a decade after a fallout with the company. Aside from an untimely triceps injury that put him on the shelf for several months, Punk's impact on the next crop of talent has been palpable. WWE NXT star Roxanne Perez posted several photos of herself with Punk as she's sought the superstar's mentorship since he returned. She told Fox News Digital about what it's like having him. "It's awesome. The 'Best in the World' isn't just a moniker. He is one of the best in the world," she said. "So, to have him as a mentor and to have there at NXT, it's cool. And he doesn't have to do that. He doesn't have to fly himself out and come watch our matches, and he's standing there in (Gorilla Position) every single time a match ends, and he's there telling them feedback. "It's just great. It's great having him there." Punk showed up on NXT's show in September, and Perez, when she was still the NXT women's champion, had a chance to drop her own "pipe bomb" on him. "That was awesome," she said. "I think that's another thing that definitely solidified me as what I say I am. I was able to step in with the best in the world, one of the best promos in the world, and I got him a little silent, I think." Perez will be looking to become a three-time NXT women's champion at Vengeance Day. She will be in a fatal four-way match against defending champion Giulia, Bayley and Cora Jade. Vengeance Day begins at 6 p.m. ET in Washington, D.C. Follow Fox News Digital's sports coverage on X and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

'I don't need mentors anymore': Roxanne Perez has Bayley — and WWE history — in her sights at NXT Vengeance Day

It's a big week for Roxanne Perez. Fresh from her runner-up finish in this year's WWE Royal Rumble, in which she emerged as the match's longest-lasting competitor, 'The Prodigy' heads to Washington D.C. for a four-way title showdown on Saturday at NXT Vengeance Day. If she wins, she will become the first-ever three-time NXT women's champion. Speaking to Uncrowned three days ahead of Vengeance Day, Perez is unwavering in her mission. 'I have absolutely no doubt I'm getting my title back,' she says, flashing a smile that hides any underlying annoyance at being asked the question in the first place. It's true that the 23-year-old Texan has never been short of confidence. But few matches have ever been as personal for Perez, who has a complex relationship (to put it mildly) with the other three women in Saturday's match. In one corner is her old tag-team partner Cora Jade, whose relationship with Perez has been tempestuous in recent years. In another stands Giulia, the current NXT women's champion who in January became the first woman to beat Perez in more than a year. And finally there's Bayley, one of WWE's pioneering Four Horsewomen and Perez's former inspiration who has become the subject of her latest vendetta. For all of Perez's insistence that she will triumph, there's little doubt she's entering her own personal lion's den. But which of the three women would she rather pin? Given the swirling pastiche of history and personal animosity layered within the match, her response is a telling one. 'I would happily pin all three of them, but I feel I have the most to prove to Bayley,' she says, having paused for a couple of beats for the first time in our conversation. 'I want to prove that I'm better than her and that I'm the best woman in the NXT division.' The tough talk is a big step up from two years ago, when a rookie Perez — the youngest breakthrough star in NXT since the days of Paige — described her now-opponent Bayley as her 'big sister' in the wrestling world. Have things really changed that much in that time? The first sign of tensions arose when Perez visited 'WWE Raw' back in January. But what started as a simmer has since turned into a rolling boil on NXT, where Bayley has been appearing sporadically. The feud has now drawn Bayley back into the NXT women's title scene, in pursuit of a prize she last held in 2015. 'I feel I need to put her properly in her place,' says Perez. 'She needs to realize that I don't need mentors anymore.' It's a point that Perez sought to make on Tuesday, when she interrupted Bayley's NXT match wearing the latter's long-discarded 'Hugger' outfit — a distraction that caused Bayley to lose her match to Jade. The head games are deliberate, Perez says with a laugh. 'It's no secret that I was a big 'Hugger' fan growing up. But I know Bayley doesn't love it when people bring the 'Hugger' stuff up, so I used it to play mind games with her. And guess what? She lost.' Perez clearly sees NXT as her territory to defend. But she knows better than anyone that the smart money has long been on her being elevated to the WWE main brands in the near future. Her sizzling performance in 2025's Royal Rumble — which saw her enter at No. 3, survive for more than 67 minutes and eliminate rival Giulia — only fueled speculation that the call to WWE's brightest spotlight is coming. 'Honestly, 'Raw' has always caught my eye since I was a kid,' Perez says. 'It's the brand I'd mention when anyone asked me where I'd go if I ever made it to WWE. I'd love to be on 'SmackDown' too, but 'Raw' has always been in my sights.' It's probably no coincidence that Bayley is there. But Perez has other scores to settle on the red brand as well. A move to 'WWE Raw' would put her within striking distance of Lyra Valkyria, who Perez previously battled for the NXT title. Then there's Kiana James, who defeated Perez in 2023 in a ferocious cage match at NXT Deadline. In the meantime, though, Perez remains part of what is increasingly being referred to (and not just by the WWE) as the best women's division in wrestling. As one of the veterans of the NXT locker room — if one can be such a thing at just 23 — it's emboldening for Perez to see that kind of praise being heaped upon the brand she's worked so hard to lift and support. 'I think it creates even more motivation and drive for everyone there,' she says. 'Our women's division is so diverse — we have D1 athletes going up against women who have been wrestling for years — and everyone is just so hungry. I've said before that I think NXT would go downhill without me, but honestly I think the future is in good hands.' It's high praise for her peers. But for all her admiration for their talents, Perez is keen to remind the likes of Jade, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer that she remains their superior. Winning Saturday's match at Vengeance Day isn't just about becoming the first NXT three-time champion, she insists, but getting back the prize that means so much to her. 'The NXT Women's Championship was the first singles title I ever won in the WWE,' she says, her eyes glowing slightly at the memory. 'It was the thing that proved that all the hard work was worth it — all those hurdles I went through, all those five-hour bus rides to get to shows. Now it's time to get it back.' And if that means destroying the woman who inspired her to take all those long bus rides in the first place? As far as 'The Prodigy' is concerned, then so be it.

WWE star Roxanne Perez looks to make history in match for NXT Women's Championship at Vengeance Day

Roxanne Perez will have a chance at history on Saturday night when she takes part in a fatal four-way match for the NXT Women's Championship at Vengeance Day. Fresh off a Royal Rumble where she rewrote the record books by being the longest-lasting competitor, Perez will compete against defending champion Giulia, Bayley and Cora Jade to become the first three-time NXT women's champion in the brand's history. The only other two-time champions were Charlotte Flair and Shayna Baszler before they were called up to the main roster. NXT general manager Ava Raine made the title match a fatal four-way after Jade's win over Bayley on the final show before Vengeance Day. Perez told Fox News Digital in a recent interview she was "upset" that Raine cut her chances of possibly making history but was "focused" on the ultimate goal. Perez and Bayley have feuded in recent weeks, and it came to a head when the young women's superstar dressed up as one of Bayley's older gimmicks just to be a thorn in her side. "It's so much fun," Perez said. "Did you see the look on her face when I came out as her little old 'Hugger' Bayley? I think I got to her. She may have got me after, but I think I definitely got to her. But it's been very fun." The 23-year-old said going up against Bayley was a dream that she had thought about since she was younger. "I feel like I kind of manifested this since I was a kid. In the past few years, I've been saying I want to step in the ring with Bayley. She's one of my dream opponents, dream matches," she said. "But now I'm finally realizing I got to prove to her that 'The Prodigy' is just a little better, it's way, way better." Perez won the NXT Women's Championship for the first time on Dec. 13, 2022, and held it for 108 days before she lost a six-way ladder match at NXT Stand & Deliver 2023. She regained the title at Stand & Deliver 2024 against Lyra Valkyria. Giulia defeated Perez at New Year's Evil back in 2025 as the former Stardom and Marigold star made her impact felt on NXT. Perez explained to Fox News Digital what having the NXT Women's Championship meant to her. "Means everything to me," she said. "I think winning it the first time, I definitely solidified myself as one of the best wrestlers that WWE has. I solidified myself as 'The Prodigy.' And it was the first title I won in WWE, my first singles title. Every single thing, every hurdle, every hard thing that I went through to get here, that proved to me that every single thing was worth it. "I don't think that there's one girl on that roster that loves that title more than me, that wants the title more than me. So, that's exactly why I'm going to become a three-time NXT women's champion, and I'm going to take the women's championship straight to RAW, straight to SmackDown, and maybe, if I decide to vacate it, somebody else will have a chance. But I don't know. I think it belongs to me. Giulia's just holding it for now." Here's how the rest of the card will shape up to be: Vengeance Day will take place in Washington, D.C., starting at 6 p.m. ET.
