Thieves stole bike after breaking into vehicle
TWO thieves forced entry into a vehicle to steal a mountain bike from inside.
It was reported that two men broke into the vehicle on Burnbake Road in Verwood at around 2.30am on Wednesday, July 30.
The bike is described as a Pivot Phoenix mountain bike and police are now appealing for witnesses.
Police constable Matt Cutler, of East Dorset police, said: 'We are carrying out enquiries into this incident to identify those responsible.
'As part of my investigation, I am issuing an image of the stolen bike and would ask anyone who has seen it for sale locally in unusual circumstances to please get in touch.
'I am also keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time.'
