Jan Schwieterman, ‘Good Burger' Actor, Dies at 52
Jan Schwieterman, who portrayed the antagonist Kurt Bozwell alongside Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell in the 1997 Nickelodeon spinoff movie Good Burger, has died. He was 52. Schwieterman died Feb. 28 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri, his family announced. His brother, Chad, wrote on Facebook that he recently had been diagnosed with 'an aggressive form' of Stage 4 cancer. Born in Bluffton, Indiana, on Sept. 30, 1972, Jan Patrick Schwieterman was an Eagle Scout before he moved to California soon after high school to become an actor, and he landed his first roles on episodes of ABC's McKenna and NBC's ER in 1994. After appearing on three installments of ABC's Forever, he landed on Good Burger. Schwieterman's résumé also included a stint as Lewis on four episodes of the first season (1998-99) of The WB series Felicity and work in the films Warlock III: The End of Innocence (1999), American Intellectuals (1999), Fallen Arches (2000) and, his final credit, Along the Way (2007). His family noted that he loved to travel and play Dungeons and Dragons. In addition to his brother, survivors include his parents, Clara and LeeRoy, and his sisters, Megan and Vanessa. Donations in his memory can be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Wings Hauser death: Prolific actor known for Vice Squad and Magnum PI dies at 78
Wings Hauser, the prolific television and film actor known for his roles in Vice Squad, Tough Guys Don't Dance and Magnum PI among others, has died. He was 78. Hauser made over 100 screen appearances in a career that spanned over five decades. His son, Yellowstone. Hauser died on March 15 in Los Angeles of natural causes. In a statement posted to his official Facebook page, his wife Cali Lili Hauser said: 'Movie icon Wings Hauser took flight in the arms of his film and music partner, Cali Lili Hauser, at their studio this weekend. 'Wings Hauser's one of a kind, legendary career spanned 58 years in movies, TV and music working alongside many of the greatest artists in the industry and earning their respect.' He was born Gerald Dwight Hauser in Hollywood on December 12, 1947. His wife's statement described him as a 'proud Academy member and prouder son of Academy Award winning writer, director, producer Dwight A. Hauser and loving mother Geraldine T. Hauser.' He made his film debut in 1967 at the age of 18, taking on a minor role in the war film First to Fight. However, he initially decided to pursue music rather than acting and released an album Your Love Keeps Me Off the Streets in 1975. In 1991, Entertainment Weekly profiled him under the headline: "Wings Hauser is the biggest star you never heard of."

Frank Hildebrand Dies: ‘Fear The Walking Dead' & ‘Into The Wild' Producer Was 73
Frank Hildebrand, a producer and production manager who most recently worked on Fear the Walking Dead, has died. He was 73. Hildrebrand's family confirmed to Deadline through a statement from his rep that he died following a brief illness on November 21, a little more than a week before his 74th birthday. Discovery Platform Born and educated in Zurich, Switzerland, Hildebrand began his filmmaking career in the UK before moving to Hollywood in the 1980s, working on such indie films as Vice Squad (1982) and Once Bitten (1985). He then went on to line produce and supervise on such films as Triumph of the Spirit (1989), Freeway (1996), The Hills Have Eyes (2006), Into the Wild (2007), The Runaways (2010), Fair Game (2010) and The Tree of Life (2011). In recent years, Hildebrand served as a producer on the last seven seasons of AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. RELATED DEADLINE VIDEO: Throughout his career, Hildebrand also held various heads of production positions at The Samuel Goldwyn Company, Epic Entertainment and River Road Productions. He was also a member of the DGA and PGA. Hildrebrand is survived by his wife Olivier; as well as his daughters Natacha and Briana Hildebrand, whom he shares with ex-wife Penny Karlin. The family of Hildrebrand, a passionate water skier and scuba diver, said donations made to any ocean conservancy organization 'would be immensely appreciated.'
