Two die in Satna auto-rickshaw accident
Bhopal: Two people were killed and more than half a dozen injured when an auto-rickshaw overturned due to brake failure in Satna district.
The incident took place while people were returning from Kardameshwarnath Dham in the auto-rickshaw at Podi Maharajpur Ghat on Tuesday evening.

The deceased were identified as Satroopa Kevat, 48, the wife of Ram Bhagat Kevat, and Santosh Mallah, 55, the son of late Devideen, both residents of Dhawari Gali in Satna.
Satroopa was the mother of popular Vindhya-based YouTuber and comedian Uttam Kevat.
"The auto-rickshaw's brakes did not work, and there is a ditch which is around 60 feet deep. It veered into the ditch and then overturned. Two persons died while around seven others sustained injuries. All injured are out of danger now," Unchehra police station in charge Satish Mishra told TOI.
Sources said it was fortunate that the auto did not fall down the ghat; otherwise, the casualties could have been much higher.
