Goods train engine derails, no casualty
Buxar: The engine of a goods train got derailed while shunting on the down line at Buxar railway station on Saturday, leading to a partial disruption of services on the Delhi-Howrah main line under Danapur division.
According to railway traffic inspector Vindhyachal Pandey, the derailment occurred around 6pm when one wheel of the engine slipped off the track. A large team of railway staff initiated restoration efforts, which were underway when the last news reached.
Inspector Pandey said no casualties were reported.
