‘Devastated is an understatement', cry RTE Fair City viewers as ‘horrible' character returns to Carrigstown
RTE Fair City viewers were all left saying the same thing after one character returned to the show tonight. On tonight's episode, Liam made his triumphant return and instantly started causing tension in Carrigstown. And Jacinta was not impressed when Renee asked Liam for help with their next fundraiser. Later, Melanie was left unsettled after she learned Dearbhla was returning. And Liam rubbed Renee up the wrong way with his interference, but Nora welcomed him into the fold. Jess forced Melanie to admit to her that she had slept with Gar, after discovering that he is Melanie's new beau. Later, Zoe was irked when Paul didn't stand up for her to Steo and left him panicking when she questions why he's taking outrageous behaviour from Steo. Paul managed to appease Zoe for the time being, and was relieved when J.J. takes his side regarding Zoe and told Steo off. Finally, J.J. kept Paul sweet to get the last of his money laundered through Vinos, which lead Zoe to accidently discover that Paul is doing dodgy dealings with J.J. Advertisement

‘Murder solved' declare RTE Fair City viewers convinced they've worked out Laura's killer as Carrigstown local returns
RTE Fair City viewers were all left saying the same thing as Damien Halpin's younger brother, Mark returned. Meanwhile, Damien had a bittersweet reunion with his younger brother, Mark, and Elaine. And Fidelma informed the Halpins of a possible new witness to Laura's murder. Later, desperate to confide, Mairead almost confessed her infidelity to Elaine. And Fidelma received damning video evidence to arrest Tyler from an anonymous source. Mulling over James' information, Gwen decided to protect herself from Tyler and retrieved the video from James' phone. Later, Emma persuaded Rafferty to rehire James for the Marketplace, before accepting, James laid out his terms for the job. JOB HUSTLE Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Paul was frustrated at the prospect of purchasing an expensive new oven for Vinos. While, Ray expressed his approval of J.J. when he saw how happy Carol was, but Pete remained wary. When Paul proposed another car scam, Pete flat-out refused. And a broken oven forced Paul to shut Vinos for the day, leaving Carol worried he could lose the restaurant. Seeing Paul's plight, J.J. got an idea when he sourced a new oven for Paul at a discount, but Pete worried the gesture comes with strings attached.
