RTE Fair City viewers were all left saying the same thing as Damien Halpin's younger brother, Mark returned.
On tonight's episode, Mairead and Dean remained on tenterhooks as they prepared to tell Damien they are in love.

Dean tried to reassure a worried Mairead as they prepared to tell Damien of their love and affair.
Meanwhile, Damien had a bittersweet reunion with his younger brother, Mark, and Elaine.
And Fidelma informed the Halpins of a possible new witness to Laura's murder.
As they were reunited with Damien and Mairead, Elaine picked up on Mairead's unease.

Updating Elaine, Mairead informed her that Tyler was still the prime suspect in Laura's murder.
Later, desperate to confide, Mairead almost confessed her infidelity to Elaine.
And Fidelma received damning video evidence to arrest Tyler from an anonymous source.
Later asking Buckley for help in capturing Tyler for good.

And Emma advised Rafferty to count his blessings and prioritise in his relationship with Joan.
Mulling over James' information, Gwen decided to protect herself from Tyler and retrieved the video from James' phone.
Later, Emma persuaded Rafferty to rehire James for the Marketplace, before accepting, James laid out his terms for the job.

Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Paul was frustrated at the prospect of purchasing an expensive new oven for Vinos.
While, Ray expressed his approval of J.J. when he saw how happy Carol was, but Pete remained wary.
When Paul proposed another car scam, Pete flat-out refused.
And a broken oven forced Paul to shut Vinos for the day, leaving Carol worried he could lose the restaurant.
Seeing Paul's plight, J.J. got an idea when he sourced a new oven for Paul at a discount, but Pete worried the gesture comes with strings attached.

Late Late Toy Show star Leo Earley has been cast in a brand new Harry Potter TV show on HBO. The Letrim native appeared on the annual Christmas show in 2024 where he gave an impressive monologue about hats. The young actor has been cast to play the role of Irish wizard Seamus Finnigan in the highly anticipated series, Variety reports. In the film franchise, the role was played by Kildare actor Devon Murray. Harry Potter will be played by Dominic McLaughlin, with Arabella Stanton and Alastair Stout playing his two best friends, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley. Other actors added to the show's cast include Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy and Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy. John Lithgow has been cast as Albus Dumbledore with Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid. Luke Thallon will play Quirinus Quirrell, and Paul Whitehouse will star as Argus Filch. The TV show, which will be based on J.K.
