Customers only need to wait a few weeks as the fast food giant also revealed the exact date it's coming back. It gives customers the chance to win a range of prizes including holidays, cash and free food. McDonald's has not yet revealed what is up for grabs this year. The competition will kick off on Wednesday, September 10. Those who wish to take part in the Monopoly game collect stickers from their food packaging that represent train stations or colour coordinated road names - much like the classic game. However, not all menu items are worth the same amount, and this determines how you redeem a prize. For example, instant win food prizes can be redeemed at any McDonald's branch by handing the token over at the counter when you order. You'll need to hand the game pieces over to a member of staff when you collect your meal. Also not all food items feature the peelable stickers. The race is on for customers to collect multiple stickers to try and gather together property sets that will put you in line to win some big prizes. McDonald's Spices Up Breakfast: Spicy McMuffin, New Sweets & Summer Meal Deals In the past, these have included a £2,000 Jet 2 Holiday and a £100 Virgin Experience Day. There are also digital peel game prizes which you need the McDonald's app to play. There's a QR code on stickers that you can scan to see if you have won a prize. Over the past few years, winners were given cash as well as vouchers on digital peel games. If you order the menu items above they should come with a stickers you can peel off and collect.
