Hazaribag: BJP workers, led by district president Vivekanand Singh, on Monday demonstrated in front of district collectorate in Hazaribag city demanding action against Pakistani citizens residing in the district. A letter in this regard was also handed over to deputy commissioner Nancy Sahay for it to be forwarded to Governor Santosh Gangwar and chief minister Hemant Soren. Barhi MLA Manoj Kumar Yadav was also present in this demonstration. Singh said the brutal killing of 26 innocent civilians by terrorists in Pahalgam on April.22 has shocked the entire nation. After this incident, the central govt has taken a very important decision to cancel the visas of Pakistani citizens and deport them from the country. He urged the district administration to identify Pakistani nationals in Hazaribag who are living without valid documents.

1 2 Chatra: BJP's Hazaribag district unit organized an Aakrosh March on Wednesday to protest the targeted killings of Hindus by terrorists in Pahalgam, Kashmir. District president Vivekanand Singh led the demonstration, accompanied by Sadar MLA Pradeep Prasad. Party leaders and workers conducted a torchlight procession from Budhwa Mahadev to Jhanda Chowk in Hazaribag city. At the gathering, speakers identified Pakistan-based Saifullah Khalid as the mastermind behind the attacks, condemning the selective targeting of Hindus based on their religious identity. The protesters demanded swift action from the central govt to eliminate the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack. They also called for strong measures against the Pakistani army for allegedly sheltering the perpetrators. Speaking at the event, MLA Pradip Prasad emphasized that the attack was not just against individuals but targeted India's communal harmony and democratic values. "The entire country must unite against terrorism," he stated, adding that those responsible for shedding innocent blood must face consequences. The demonstration highlighted growing concerns over targeted religious violence and called for national unity in combating terrorism.
