News 8 585 Primetime Elite Awards: Girls Alpine
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) —This featured athlete has completed a fantastic season and earned a sectional title in their junior year.
Holding the fastest time in events at the Section V championships, she placed first in both the slalom and giant slalom.
Her slalom time of 1 minute and 3.9 seconds was nearly five seconds faster than the second-place finisher. In the giant slalom, she finished with a time of 20.79 seconds, making her the overall alpine champion.
Moving to the state competition, she finished her season with third place in the giant slalom.
Out of North Rose Wolcott, Wayne, and Marion, Vivian Bishop is our Elite Award winner for Girls Alpine.
