New research from car health assistant app Vixa found that over three quarters of drivers have experienced car trouble at least once with 61 per cent having had plans ruined by car trouble. More than a quarter say they've been late to work or an important meeting, 18 per cent have missed visiting friends and nine per cent of people have missed a wedding due to the impact of car difficulties. One in four have turned down an invitation or changed plans because they didn't trust their car would get them there. Vixa from The AA has teamed up with UK garage royalty Lisa Maffia to launch a new track called 'Keep it Rollin' to raise awareness of how summer car troubles can ruin best-laid plans. The research also found that a third of drivers weren't aware of the extra pressure summer driving puts on their cars. From long-distance journeys to hotter conditions The plug-in Vixa device gives personalised insights on your phone, with proactive alerts when something's not right.
