Driver going at 139mph caught by police
A driver who clocked up 139mph speeds on the motorway has been reported after a police chase.
Road Policing officers were on patrol when they observed a Volkswagen Polo GTI driving erratically at Cadgers Brae Roundabout in Falkirk on Sunday.
Police followed the car onto the motorway and observed the driver clocking up speeds of up to 139mph before being stopped.
A 22-year-old male driver will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal, officers said.
