Ye Claims Playboi Carti Came To His Hotel Armed With A Gun
Over the weekend, Ye decided to venture into the world of Twitch streaming and brought his random and unprovoked revelations from X. The 47-year-old rapper claimed Playboi Carti pulled up to one of his hotels while armed with a gun. It's unclear when this alleged visit took place, but the artist formerly known as Kanye West sounded very convinced when he briefly explained the story. 'I gotta tell you another thing that Carti said telling me on the phone, ni**a,' he said to the camera during his stream. 'This ni**a told me he was at the Chateau with a gun, ni**a. What that mean, ni**a? And then ni**a said he don't be on the internet. It's like, if you don't be on the internet, what we talking about then? I ain't say nothing then.' Seemingly, the Vultures artist was referring to the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, Calif. In his March interview with DJ Akademiks, they spoke on camera while at the luxury hotel. As for Ye's interaction with Carti, he wasn't able to say much else because Twitch allegedly banned him after he streamed for just seven minutes. Ye and Playboi Carti, once close collaborators, have had a complicated last few months. The multi-time Grammy winner expressed his frustrations with the Atlanta rapper when he included three Kendrick Lamar features on his March album Music, but left off all the songs on which Ye was featured. 'I DONT LIKE KENDRICK LAMARS MUSIC HE RAPS VERY GOOD BUT I DIDNT NEED TO HEAR HIM ON CARTI ALBUM,' the controversial artist wrote on X. West also took issue with the fact that Kim Kardashian did not want their daughter North on a song with him, Diddy, and others, but seemingly gave Carti the green light to work with her. His rants got to a point where the 'Evil J0rdan' artist actually tweeted, telling his former mentor to 'STFU.' This is a sharp turn from their success together through the years. In 2021, Carti appeared on the standout Donda track 'Off The Grid.' Last year, the duo created a hit together with 'Carnival' from Vultures 1, alongside Ty Dolla $ign and Rich The Kid. Ty Dolla $ign has publicly distanced himself from Kanye West, removing all references to the rapper from his Instagram and stating, 'I do not condone ANY form of hate speech towards ANYBODY.' The decision follows Ye's latest antisemitic outbursts and controversial actions, including selling a swastika-themed $20 T-shirt on his Yeezy website and declaring, 'I'm a N*zi ... I love Hitler.' Ty Dolla $ign, who recently collaborated with Kanye on the Vultures 1 and Vultures 2 albums, also changed his profile picture to remove promotion of their joint project. His move comes amid mounting backlash against West, whose X account was deactivated following a series of antisemitic posts. Adding to the controversy, Ye's website was taken down by Shopify after the swastika-themed merchandise sparked outrage. The Anti-Defamation League condemned Kanye's actions, stating, 'Kanye was tweeting vile antisemitism nonstop since last week. There's no excuse for this kind of behavior.' West is also facing legal trouble, as a former Jewish employee of Yeezy LLC filed a lawsuit accusing him of workplace antisemitism, alleging he frequently referred to himself as a 'N*zi' and sent messages such as, 'Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler.' While Ty Dolla $ign previously hinted at another joint project with Ye, its release is now uncertain. Other celebrities, including Charlie Puth, Lyor Cohen, and Friends star David Schwimmer, have also condemned West's antisemitic tirade.

Kanye West exits X, credits Elon Musk with ‘allowing me to vent' via venomous rants
Ye, after a weekend of spewing more antisemitic and hateful comments on X, offered a message of praise for the app's owner, Elon Musk. 'I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent,' the controversial rapper formerly known as Kanye West tweeted Sunday evening, according to KTLA. 'It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board.' Ye gave kudos to Musk as he announced he would be going dark on X. The 'Vultures 1' rapper, 47, seemingly deactivated his account days after using Musk's platform to declare himself a Nazi and express renewed praise for Adolf Hitler. In addition to the antisemitic posts, Ye called for the release of jailed music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs and declared his 'dominion' over wife Bianca Censori. The 'Heartless' musician has a long history of making provocative and harmful statements and in recent years faced scrutiny for his comments about the Jewish community — a number of which he published on X. In 2022, Ye had threatened on X that he would go 'death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,' prompting suspensions from both that platform and Instagram. His comments also prompted multiple clothing companies and management firms to cut ties with Ye. But both X and Instagram eventually reinstated the Grammy winner's account and he continued to double down. In December 2023, Ye apologized for another round of antisemitic 'outbursts' and said he would commit himself to 'learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future.' During Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, Ye aired a cryptic commercial directing viewers to a link for his Yeezy clothing line. The website touts only one item: a $20 white T-shirt bearing a black swastika. Before Ye credited Musk's platform for hosting his venomous posts, the X owner on Sunday tweeted that the rapper had been posting illicit content. Musk, also head of the Department of Government Efficiency, apparently found time between gutting various government agencies over the weekend to chime in on Ye's internet activity. Musk also flirted with Nazi imagery earlier this year when he extended multiple salutes with his right arm during an inauguration event for President Trump. 'Given what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW,' Musk replied to an X user who alleged Ye had posted pornography. 'You should not be seeing that anymore.' Only time will tell. Bianca Censori's 'private' mom shuts down reporter asking about daughter's nude Grammys stunt
Bianca Censori's mother has refused to weigh in on her daughter's recent red carpet stunt with Kanye West. Mom Alexandra Censori on Wednesday told the Daily Mail that their family is currently trying to avoid any attention from the media and are trying to remain private after her daughter attended the Grammys on Sunday with her fully-clothed husband and dropped her fur black coat to show off a completely sheer dress. 'We are just normal people, living our own lives as privately as we can,' she told the publication. 'I have nothing to say about Bianca, thank you.' Alexandra had declined to further speak to Bianca's relationship with the rapper. The controversial couple — who met when Censori was working for West's company Yeezy as its architectural designer — tied the knot in December 2022 in a secret ceremony. The nuptials came a month after West finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children. Bianca's sister Angelina appeared to support her sister's outfit at the awards show as she reshared a video on her Instagram Story of Bianca dropping her coat on the carpet. She also commented on West's since-deleted Instagram post of the outfit with a fire emoji, according to Page Six. Other people have since spoken out about the stunt, one of which being Grammy Awards executive producer Raj Kapoor. He said that while the Grammys have an 'artistic black-tie' dress code, the meaning of that could be 'up for interpretation in the music industry.' 'Obviously there is a dress code for anybody actually performing on the show that we have to adhere to standards and practices,' he said during an interview with People. 'But as far as people attending and nominees attending, that would be something the [Recording] Academy [which presents the Grammys] would have to answer.' At another point during the interview, Kapoor appeared to confirm that West and Censori were not invited to the Grammys live ceremony. 'From what I understand, they were there for the red carpet,' Kapoor said. West was nominated this year for best rap song for 'Carnival' from his Vultures 1 album. 'I'm not sure if he was at Pre-Tel' – a special pre-telecast presentation where most of the awards were handed out – which is at the Peacock Theater 'before the main show. But that award was definitely in Pre-Tel,' Kapoor added. 'We know each person who's coming because every table is numbered. And so our director has to know where those artists are for award categories ... They didn't have a nomination on the show and Kanye wasn't presenting. He was not performing either, which is mostly what those seats are,' said the producer. Former host of The View Meghan McCain also gave her opinion on the viral stunt as she compared Censori to a 'hostage' in a since-deleted tweet. 'I just want and have wanted for years — for Kanye West to leave us all the hell alone,' the post read. 'He's a repugnant, vile piece of garbage, and his wife looks like a victim and a hostage.' Elizabeth Chambers, the ex-wife of actor Armie Hammer, echoed similar sentiments in her Instagram Story where she accused West of 'humiliating' his wife and claimed the dynamic between the pair showed 'misogyny and control at its finest.'
