St. George to host town-wide yard sale event Saturday
ST. GEORGE, S.C. (WCBD) – If you are looking for Bargains this weekend, the Town of St. George is hosting its town-side yard sale Saturday. Residents can hold a yard sale at their home or join others at the old middle school property and rent space at 600 Minus Street for $25. People are welcome to browse goods at the various sales on Saturday, May 10, from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m., and a food truck will be available at the Minus Street location. Travel with Rob Fowler: Day 4
Day 4 of our WCBD News 2 Viewer Trip… We started Day 4 with a filling breakfast at our hotel in Athens, before hitting the road for Delphi. We traveled through the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus and Thebes, Livadeia. We reached Delphi, where we explored the Archeological Site and museum. Delphi, a stunning town lying on the slopes of Mount Parnassus high above the Gulf of Corinth, is one of the most famous historic sites in Greece. Delphi was an ancient religious sanctuary dedicated to the Greek god Apollo. Delphi was also considered by the ancient Greeks to be the center of the world. Occupation of the site at Delphi can be traced back to the Neolithic period with extensive occupation and use beginning in the Mycenaean period (1600–1100 BC). It's only fitting this is where I also got to represent the Cooper River Bridge Run! Thanks Irv and Lorrie for the shirt and hoodie!!! After spending time exploring Delphi, we continued on our way, traveling the Greek countryside, ending up at Kalambaka for the night.
