KOTA MARUDU: Wife of the Chief Minister and President of Mutiara GRS, Datin Seri Panglima Datuk Hajah Juliah Salag, said it is deeply upsetting to hear about continued bullying and hoped such incidents will not happen again, particularly in school dormitories. 'I also hope every school will make every effort to prevent such incidents from happening, so that no more tears are shed due to acts like this,' she said, at the Santuni Kasih: Technology and Human Values Programme, held in conjunction with the Women's Reproductive Cancer Awareness Campaign (WCare) at Dewan PPR Jaya, Kerongkom. She urged the younger generation to uphold proper behaviour and manners in order to protect the good name of their families. 'The religion also emphasises the importance of upholding good manners to avoid offending, bullying, or hurting others.' Juliah said as mothers it is only natural for all of us to hope that our children will consistently uphold good behaviour and manners for the benefit of themselves, their families, and society at large. At the event, Juliah presented certificates of participation to 50 programme participants, while Redonah, as the programme organiser, contributed food baskets to 100 recipients. Kota Marudu is the 24th district visited by Mutiara GRS in collaboration with LPPKN since 2021, as part of their outreach efforts to foster compassion and provide benefits to the local community in raising awareness on prioritising health, particularly concerning cancer among women. * Follow us on our official WhatsApp channel and Telegram for breaking news alerts and key updates! * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
