He said: 'Excellent flight back from Doha to London on BA126 with superb cabin crew service but once again the WIFI wasn't working the whole flight. 'That's four of my last five flights without WIFI - I love BA but please switch your system to a better one!' In response to the post, BA's official X account said: 'Thank you for your comments. We're always looking to see where we can improve and this will help us identify areas we can do better.' On its website, the flag carrier explains that its 'progressively rolling out WIFI across its short and long haul fleets'. It added that the 'majority' of its aircraft now offer a WIFI connection for passengers. In a comment under his original post, Piers said: 'I do think BA should consider Starlink for their WIFI, seems far more reliable.' Starlink is a satellite internet service that's used by several airlines, including Qatar Airways and Air France. Currently, BA passengers can choose from one of two WIFI packages on the airline. Club passengers can use British Airways' messaging package for free which allows flyers to use instant messaging applications. Non-members need to pay £1.99-£2.99 short-haul flights and £2.99-£4.99 on long-haul flights to use the service. Passengers that want to use the airline's streaming wifi package need to pay £4.99-£11.99 on short haul flights and £4.99-£21.99 on long haul flights. The service is free for first-class passengers.
