Authorities have banned smoking in the city's Walk Street area to promote green environment and healthy lifestyle. Tobacco advertising, sale of traditional cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, heated tobacco products and shisha are prohibited. The Japan-financed Takhmau Water Treatment Plant, situated in Takhmau City, Kandal Province, is scheduled to be inaugurated today. Built by a Japanese consortium, it will be managed for 10 years before being handed over to the Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority. 1.
