General Hospital spoilers: Dante and Anna just hinted at Josslyn's grave danger?

In the episode that aired on July 21, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) pieced together that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is a WSB agent and is investigating Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard). While Dante was shocked at the thought, thinking of Josslyn as his 'little sister,' incapable of being a spy, Anna believed Josslyn made the perfect recruit for Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). As the two Port Charles cops further unpacked Josslyn's newfound career, they tossed around the idea of telling Carly (Laura Wright) about her daughter's profession. Anna and Dante ultimately decided it was best not to loop in the Metro Court owner, as Carly would likely blow Josslyn's cover and wreck the Dalton investigation. Anna may not trust Jack, but she vouched for him as an agent and surmised that the Dalton investigation is incredibly important. Then came the statement that gave us pause. Anna claimed Jack was determined to nail Dalton for whatever wrongdoing he's guilty of, no matter what it takes, and that prompted Dante to ask a question. Dante asked, "So you think he'll [Jack] stop Dalton under any circumstances, even if that means sacrificing an agent?" That question, combined with the foreboding music, makes us believe that Josslyn may soon find herself in a life-or-death situation. Will Dalton learn that Josslyn's an agent and report back to Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and his mystery partner? Will Sidwell then order Josslyn to be eliminated? We certainly think this scenario lies in the realm of possibility. If Josslyn finds herself in danger, she may need someone to come help rescue her. This could-be hero could be Vaughn (Bryce Durfee), as he is the one who trained her and works most closely with her. However, we also can't rule out the prospect that Anna will rely on her former WSB training to save Josslyn. Heck, for that matter, Dante is a former agent, so he could help save Carly's mini-me. One thing we know for sure is that if Josslyn has a brush with death because of the WSB and Carly hears about it, the new Spencer matriarch is bound to become enraged. She'd probably end her romance with Jack and may even go so far as to plot revenge against him. New episodes of General Hospital air on weekdays on ABC. General Hospital Recap: Brook Lynn Fires Lois originally appeared on Daytime Confidential. On today's General Hospital recap: Brennan joins Carly at the pool for some quality alone time. Carly tells him about Sasha and the baby leaving town and how everyone is heartbroken. The two discuss their relationship and how he's never anything long term because of his career. Jack says being near her helps even if he can't share everything about his life. Anna tells Dante she's certain Josslyn is a WSB agent but Dante refuses to believe it. Anna says she was younger than Joss when she was recruited but Dante questions how Brennan reeled her in, and Anna mentions Cyrus. Anna explains how obsessed Josslyn got with Cyrus and how she told her to leave it alone. She tells Dante that Joss had leads no one else had access to, and they had to come from Brennan. Dante isn't happy Brennan used Josslyn's grief to turn her into an asset. The two realize Josslyn's Easter Island trip must have been her training. Anna says she worked hard to become Dalton's assistant and Brennan's interest means he's doing more than animal testing. Dante wonders what Carly would do if she found out Brennan recruited Josslyn and thinks she'd want to know. Anna doesn't want to blow Josslyn's cover if it means messing up the Dalton investigation. She tells Dante they need to back off, but he questions whether she would have wanted someone to get her out when she was that age. The Deception women are back on the set of Home & Heart. Brook Lynn uncomfortably explains to host Flora Garden why Lois won't be joining them. Lucy checks in with Brook Lynn to see if she's ready to take her mother's place on camera. Lucy and Brook Lynn are ready to discuss the newest youth rejuvenating serum when Lois appears on set. Lucy pushes for Brook Lynn and Lois to work together, albeit uncomfortably. Lucy and Flora stand by and watch the numbers climb until the product is sold out. Once the cameras are off, Brook Lynn confronts Lucy, but she wants them to put the rift behind them and move forward. Brook Lynn warns Lucy never to put her in that situation again and fires Lois. Josslyn and Vaughn head back to the bureau. Jack isn't there and Josslyn admits she's annoyed he's dating her mother. Josslyn promises to stay out of it and won't do anything to jeopardize the mission. Vaughn gets a call their female courier took a connecting flight to Dubrovnik.
