Fantasy Baseball 2-Start Pitcher Rankings: Welcome to a great streaming week!

This is a good week to find some two-start pitchers on the waiver wire, as the list includes one especially exciting option and several hurlers who should post solid results. Things are less exciting on the hitting side, as few teams play four games over the next four days. However, those who are desperate for a hitter can likely find some help from the Giants. Two-Start Pitchers (listed in order of preference) Eury Pérez, Marlins, 56% (@PIT, @WSH) Pérez's roster rate will surely skyrocket prior to first pitch on Monday. After all, the 22-year-old is one of the most talented young starters in baseball, as he showed in 2023 when he logged a 3.15 ERA, a 1.13 WHIP and a 10.6 K/9 rate at age 20. Despite the long layoff, Perez is easily the best streamer this week and will likely stay on rosters for the remainder of the season. Check if he's still available. Griffin Canning, Mets, 48% (vs. WSH, vs. TB) Canning bounced back from a pair of subpar outings when he struck out seven across six shutout innings against the high-scoring Dodgers. The right-hander walks too many batters (10.4%), but he minimizes the damage by getting his share of strikeouts and ground balls. Having two starts at his pitcher-friendly home park against average offenses makes Canning one of the safest options on this list. Jeffrey Springs, Athletics, 31% (@LAA, @KC) Springs is one of a few Athletics pitchers who have fared best when pitching on the road, logging a 3.86 ERA in those contests (5.51 ERA at home). The lefty had a hiccup in Toronto on May 30 (2 IP, 6 ER) but even when factoring in that start, he has recorded a 3.66 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP in six outings since the calendar flipped to May. Springs belongs in most lineups this week, as both of his opponents rank among the bottom-10 teams in OPS vs. southpaws. Shane Smith, White Sox, 26% (@HOU, @TEX) Smith continued to overcome his expected stats last week, as he held the Tigers off the scoreboard for 5.1 innings. The 25-year-old has benefited from a .245 BABIP, and all of his ERA estimators are between 3.50-4.00, but that still makes him good enough to be a viable streamer in 12-team leagues. He will face two disappointing offenses this week that rank 20th and 28th in runs scored. Advertisement [Smarter waivers, better trades, optimized lineups — Yahoo Fantasy Plus unlocks it all] Mitch Keller, Pirates, 35% (vs. MIA, @CHC) Keller has been consistently mediocre for several years, and in each of the past three seasons, he has logged an ERA between 4.13-4.25 and a WHIP between 1.25-1.30. The right-hander has polarizing matchups this week, as the Marlins rank 23rd in runs scored and the Cubs place second. Overall, he's an uninspiring option who makes the most sense for managers who are aggressively chasing volume. Luis L. Ortiz, Guardians, 34% (vs. CIN, @SEA) Ortiz strikes out plenty of batters (25.4%) but the good news stops there. The right-hander gives up too many walks (11.8%) and too much hard contact (93.0 mph average exit velocity) to have consistent success. His matchups are average this week, and I would be much more comfortable using him in points leagues, where he could make a major impact by striking out 12+ batters. Colin Rea, Cubs, 15% (@PHI, vs. PIT) Rea followed up a pair of six-run starts by shutting out the Nats across 5.1 innings last time out. Unfortunately, his scoreless start came with seven baserunners and zero strikeouts. The 34-year-old is not as safe as is suggested by his 3.59 ERA, and managers would be wise to heed the warnings of his 1.35 WHIP. Advertisement He's on this list for one reason — a Sunday start against the Pirates, who rank 29th in runs scored. It's enough to get him into some deep-league lineups. Shane Baz, Rays, 46% (@BOS, @NYM) Baz has had a couple of serviceable starts of late, but his overall ratios since May 1 (7.00 ERA, 1.67 WHIP) leave plenty to be desired. The right-hander still carries some name value in fantasy circles thanks to his former prospect status. But I would avoid using him for a pair of road starts against above-average offenses. One-Start Streamers In order, here are the best streamers for the week, with their start date and Yahoo roster rate in parentheses. Advertisement Lance McCullers vs. CWS (Tuesday, 46) Bryce Elder vs. COL (Friday, 10) Cade Horton vs. PIT (Friday, 32) Hayden Birdsong @COL (Wednesday, 37) Ryan Weathers* @WSH (Saturday, 31) Luis Severino @KC (Friday, 28) Chris Paddack @HOU (Friday, 33) Tomoyuki Sugano vs. LAA (Saturday, 49) Chad Patrick vs. ATL (Wednesday, 28) Bailey Falter vs. MIA (Wednesday, 17) Cal Quantrill @PIT (Wednesday, 3) Jack Leiter @MIN (Wednesday, 39) Tyler Anderson @BAL (Saturday, 22) Erick Fedde @MIL (Friday, 18) Grant Holmes @MIL (Tuesday, 32) Will Warren @KC (Thursday, 39) José Soriano vs. ATH (Tuesday, 19) Michael Lorenzen vs. ATH (Saturday, 19) Slade Cecconi vs. CIN (Tuesday, 4) Favorable Monday-Thursday hitting matchups Giants @ Rockies: The Giants get their turn to face a beleaguered Rockies staff (6.16 home ERA) at Coors Field. Wilmer Flores (43%) and Tyler Fitzgerald (18%) are the best options to add from the waiver wire. Cardinals vs. Blue Jays, Brewers: St. Louis is one of just a few teams that play four games over the next four days, and it does not face an ace in any of its contests. Victor Scott II (24%) is the most obvious player to add in roto leagues, and those in shallow formats who sometimes bench Masyn Winn, Ivan Herrera, Lars Nootbaar and Nolan Arenado may want to move them into the active lineup.

By Aman Shukla Published on June 4, 2025, 11:13 IST Epigral Limited has announced the execution of agreements to invest in a renewable energy project in Gujarat. On June 4, 2025, the company entered into a Share Subscription and Shareholder's Agreement with Prozeal Green Power Private Limited and Pro-Zeal Green Power Ten Private Limited. Additionally, it signed an Energy Supply Agreement with Pro-Zeal Green Power Ten Private Limited to source 19.80 MW of Wind Solar Hybrid (WSH) power as a captive consumer. As part of this transaction, Epigral will subscribe to at least 26% of the securities—comprising equity and optionally convertible debentures—of Pro-Zeal Green Power Ten Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) formed to develop and operate the WSH power project. The investment will be made in one or more tranches, totaling approximately ₹21.38 crore, and will be through cash consideration. The SPV was incorporated on January 2, 2025, and is yet to begin commercial operations. Its current paid-up capital is ₹1 lakh. Following the transaction, Pro-Zeal Green Power Ten will become an associate of Epigral. The ownership in the SPV will be held in the ratio of 26:74 by Epigral and Prozeal Green Power Private Limited, respectively. 2024-25 Fantasy Hockey Awards: Hellebuyck Shines as MVP

Here are the season-ending fantasy hockey awards. It is so easy to argue whether some choices could go elsewhere, but that's the beauty of these awards. All stats are through the end of the season. 2024-25 Fantasy Hockey Award Winners Top Fantasy Hockey MVP of 2024-25 Season WPG Connor Hellebuyck, Goalie, Winnipeg Jets This was a very tight race as Nathan MacKinnon, Nikita Kucherov and Leon Draisaitl all deserved consideration. There are not many times a goaltender is considered the top fantasy choice, but Hellebuyck's season was so superior, it could not be overlooked. He led the NHL in wins with 47, goals-against-average (2.00), shutouts with eight and tied for the league lead in games played with 63. He finished second to Anthony Stolarz in save percentage, only .001 behind Stolarz's .926. Had I selected a forward, it is likely I would have picked Leon Draisaitl, who led the NHL in goals with 51. Fantasy Hockey Sleeper of the Year WSH Pierre-Luc Dubois, Center, Washington Capitals Dubois had a horrible 2023-24 campaign, scoring 16 times and adding 24 assists in 82 regular-season games with Los Angeles. He was dealt in the offseason to Washington, where he had a career high 65 points, as well as 76 PIM and 13 points on the power play. Teammate Logan Thompson led most of the season for this award, but he slumped late in the season (the playoffs for many), finishing 0-2-1, allowing 13 goals on 59 shots before suffering an upper-body injury April 2, missing the final seven games of the season. Fantasy Hockey Bust of the Year TOR Auston Matthews, Center, Toronto Maple Leafs Matthews didn't have a bad season, just not one you would expect from a Top 5 pick in fantasy pools. Matthews was spectacular last season with 69 goals and 38 assists in 81 games. This season he was held back by an upper-body injury that cost him 15 games during the year. He had only 33 goals in 67 games, a huge drop from last season. He was red-hot through portions of the season, but that did not make up for his draft position. Another bust was Roman Josi, who had nine goals and 38 points in 53 games before missing the final 25 contests with an upper-body injury. He had 85 points last season and was likely a second or third-round selection in most drafts. Goalie MVP WPG Connor Hellebuyck, Winnipeg Jets Hellebuyck was the best goaltender from start to finish once again this season. The reasons for choosing him are the same as in MVP voting above. Andrei Vasilevskiy and Jake Oettinger put together high-end seasons, but nothing like what we saw from Hellebuyck, who should easily take home the Vezina Trophy this year. Defenseman MVP COL Cale Makar, Colorado Avalanche Makar beat out Zach Werenski of the Blue Jackets for the top spot. Makar had his second straight 90-point season, picking up 30 goals for the first time in his career, while managing 62 assists. Makar was a force on the power play with 35 points and fired 246 shots on net, also a career high. He beat out Werenski, who was spectacular this season, tallying 23 goals and 59 assists, both career bests. Makar is the top defenseman in the NHL, while Werenski is a top-three blueliner, along with Quinn Hughes. Fantasy Hockey Rookie of the Year MTL Lane Hutson, Defenseman, Montreal Canadiens Another tough category, as Hutson and Dustin Wolf were the two best rookies, with Macklin Celebrini and Matvei Michkov close behind. Hutson was fabulous throughout the season, tallying six goals and adding an NHL-record tying 60 assists for a rookie defenseman (along with Larry Murphy of the Kings back in 1980-81). Hutson had one five-game scoreless drought in the season, but that followed a nine-game scoring streak in which he had 13 points. Wolf was outstanding as he gave the low-scoring Flames (29th in the NHL, averaging 2.69 goals per game) every opportunity to make the playoffs as they fell just short, tying St. Louis for the second wild-card spot but losing out on regulation wins. Wolf was 29-16-8 with three shutouts, a 2.64 GAA and a .910 save percentage in 53 games. Waiver Wire Pickup of the Year WSH Aliaksei Protas, Right Wing, Washington Capitals Anyone who took Protas in their regular draft (even the deepest ones) must have had a crystal ball, as Protas managed only six goals and 23 assists over 78 games with the Capitals in 2023-24. He was outstanding in 2024-25, scoring 30 times while adding 36 assists, despite picking up only one point on the power play. He was a plus-40, third-best in the NHL, and at the age of 24, he has a bright future with Washington. Teammate Pierre-Luc Dubois also deserves a shoutout as he went from a 40-point player (and lost in Los Angeles) to 66 points with the Capitals. Dynasty Stash for 2024-25 SJS Yaroslav Askarov, Goalie, San Jose Sharks There are not too many goaltenders who are good year after year, as Connor Hellebuyck, Andrei Vasilevskiy and Igor Shesterkin usually seem to be the top-three. Askarov is the Sharks' goaltender of the future. He was drafted 11th overall in 2020 by Nashville and dealt to San Jose last offseason. He spent most of the season with AHL San Jose, going 11-9-1 with a 2.45 GAA and a .923 save percentage. At the NHL level, Askarov was 4-6-2 with a 3.10 GAA and a .896 save percentage, but he tantalized many with his outstanding play under tough circumstances with the lowly Sharks. San Jose is an up-and-coming team, and Askarov is expected to play a major role in 2025-26. My Best Fantasy Pick CGY Dustin Wolf, Goalie, Calgary Flames I selected Wolf in the 12th round, and he was instrumental in getting me to the semifinals. As mentioned above, Wolf had an outstanding rookie campaign and should be a Top 10 pick among goaltenders next season. My Worst Fantasy Pick EDM Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Center, Edmonton Oilers I picked Nugent-Hopkins in the sixth round, figuring he could return to close to the 104-point effort in 2022-23, rather than his 67-point performance last season. I was wrong. Nugent-Hopkins took a further dip in the points race with only 20 goals and 49 points in 78 games. At the age of 33 next season, Nugent-Hopkins may no longer be fantasy-worthy in shallow pools.
