Arjun Tendulkar, born on September 24, 1999, in Mumbai, is the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and Dr. Anjali Tendulkar. He is a left-handed batsman and left-arm medium-fast bowler who started playing cricket at a young age.
Arjun began his domestic career with Mumbai and later moved to Goa in 2022. He made a strong impression in the 2022–23 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and scored a century on his first-class debut for Goa in the Ranji Trophy, just like his father did in 1988.
In the IPL, Arjun was bought by the Mumbai Indians in 2021 for Rs 20 lakh. He made his debut on April 16, 2023, against the Kolkata Knight Riders, becoming part of the first father-son duo in IPL history. In that match, he also took his first IPL wicket, dismissing Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
