Longtime Wrestler R-Truth Reveals He's Been 'Released' by the WWE

Killings, 53, made the announcement via social media on Sunday, June 1. The popular wrestler wrote, "I'm sorry to inform you all. I just got released from WWE. I want to thank WWE for the ride, but MOSTLY I want to thank each and EVERYONE OF YOU who was along for the ride," in a post on X. The finish left no room for a rematch as 'The Last Real Champion' demanded a new challenger for his title, turning the page on this rivalry. Given this, it made little sense for Orton to appear on SmackDown. There is still time to build his feud with Nick Aldis According to Fightful, Orton is likely to take on Nick Aldis at SummerSlam in August.
