Karrion Kross talks about his WWE contract ending

Karrion Kross and Scarlett have been moved to the Alumni section of the website, signifying the duo is finished up with the company. They have since confirmed their contracts have officially expired. Right on cue, Kross had a video ready to upload to YouTube speaking on all things related to his situation: Some choice quotes: 'I expressed my willingness to negotiate with WWE in early January. I didn't… you know it's preposterous to think that I'd want to go anywhere else. Nothing against anywhere else, but I'm fully committed, I'm here. There isn't a world that exists where I haven't made that entirely clear. Maybe that's the nature of people where they think, like, you know if all things aren't working out they'll go somewhere else — I really am not like that. I'll bang my head against the pavement until, you know the sidewalk breaks, and we get to the basement. 'That's just the way I am. It's frustrating because you express your interest in doing things, and then you go to bed, and they made it clear so many, many months have gone by, and I've never had a single conversation about it until recently, and I don't even feel like the conversation I had recently was an actual serious one, but I … the conversation made me really angry, because I didn't think it was a real conversation. Someone contacted me and we had briefly discussed it. It was a very short conversation, and there wasn't anything discussed of real substance, and that really, really, really … actually, it didn't make me angry or upset, it just profoundly disappointed me.' It's still not entirely clear if all of this is a work or if WWE simply decided they didn't want to do business with Kross & Scarlett any longer. He also speaks extensively on the crowd response he was garnering following his promo in the aftermath of WrestleMania earlier this year. He claimed he was told to downplay the response, something that goes against everything he believes the business is and should be. What does it mean for the future? Well, it's entirely possible and maybe even likely this is all a way to play into yet another story that will play out not just on television but on Netflix with shows like WWE: Unreal. The powers that be have made clear they will be utilizing all mediums to tell stories and whether you know it's real or not is going to be a part of that. Then again, it could all be legitimate and we could be seeing the start of a potentially special run through various other promotions for a guy who, even this late in his career, looks like a star on the rise. In the meantime, Kross says he's taking bookings: While Scarlett thanked everyone before looking ahead to the future: As they like to say: tick tock.
