Raytown police ask for help locating 75-year-old wheelchair bound man
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Raytown Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 75-year-old man who left a veteran's hospital before receiving medical care. Hayden is described as being 6-feet tall, Black male, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was also last seen wearing a red and black ball cap, brown and blue plaid shirt, and gray and black pants, according to police. Firefighter eating at Wabash BBQ jumps into action after fire breaks out on Mother's Day
KANSAS CITY, MO. — An off-duty firefighter sprang into action on Mother's Day when a fire broke out at the Excelsior Springs BBQ restaurant where he was dining. Wabash BBQ said on Facebook that its restaurant sustained moderate damage in a fire Sunday evening. Thankfully, the BBQ restaurant said no employees were injured in the fire. Kansas City bar hires sheriff's deputies to protect customers from 'bad characters' Luckily, a firefighter happened to be eating at the restaurant when the fire broke out. 'A special thanks to a Lathrop firefighter Zach Coldren, that was there enjoying dinner and jumped in action to contain the fire until ESFD got there and took over,' Wabash BBQ said on Facebook.
