New Waldameer ride ‘Time Twister' in process of being built
Waldameer Park is in the process of assembling their newest ride this week, which will be called the Time Twister.
The new attraction finds its home next to the 'Whacky Shack' where the 'Spider,' which was taken down in the off-season, once sat.

Parts of the new ride will continue to arrive throughout the week.
It's a project that has been in the works for about a year now.

'It's not as spinny and dizzying as maybe the Spider that used to be there. That feeling though, is really neat, the near misses that you get. It's kind of like a vertical scrambler, I like to call it. The near misses, the spinning action, you're going to get some airtime as you're coming down. I think it's going to be a really great, thrilling family ride,' said Brian Gorman, COO of Waldameer.
Their goal is for construction to finish by Monday, April 28. Throughout the next week, the ride will be tested so that it's ready for the opening day of the park.
