Tickets from Walmart, one in South Florida, split a state Lottery jackpot
Financial benefits extended beyond cheap prices for a couple of Walmart shoppers and Florida Lottery players Tuesday. They didn't play the Mega Millions game, which will have a $122 million jackpot at its next drawing, or the Jackpot Triple Play, which will have a $300,000 top prize at the net drawing. The Fantasy 5 midday drawing numbers — 9, 10, 14, 27, 31 — were on Quick Pick tickets bought at the Walmart Neighborhood Market, 12700 S. Military Trail, near Boynton Beach, and a Walmart in Brandon, 1208 E. Brandon Blvd. Each ticket is worth $26,851.58. These tickets must be cashed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the Florida Lottery district offices. Appointments can be made, but aren't required, and offices are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office in Palm Beach County is in Palm Springs, 4360 Forest Hill Blvd., and can be reached at WPBRC@ or 561-640-6190. The Tampa office is at Centerpoint Business Park, 1911 U.S. 301 North, Suite 170, and can be called at 813-744-6134 or emailed at TAMRC@
