Emergency services attend crash as car flipped on roof
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a crash this afternoon, Saturday, August 16, which left a car on its roof.
The incident happened at around 3pm on Walshaw Road in Bury and a man was taken to hospital.
Pictures from the scene show a black car on its roof with fire crews and ambulances surrounding it.
One fire engine was dispatched from Bury Central, along with the Technical Response Unit (TRU) from nearby Ashton.
It is believed that the road was closed off for some time.

It is unclear at present if there were any other vehicles involved or if any arrests were made.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: 'Just after 3pm this afternoon (Saturday, August 16), one fire engine from Bury Central, along with the Technical Response Unit from Ashton, were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Walshaw Road, Bury.
'Crews arrived quickly at the scene where one vehicle was on its roof.
"Firefighters used specialist equipment to make the vehicle and area safe.
"A man was taken to hospital by colleagues from the North West Ambulance Service. Firefighters were in attendance for around fifty minutes.'
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) have been contacted for more information.
