Clayton scores 20 as Jazz complete unbeaten Summer League
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 Sports) – With Brice Sensabaugh and Ace Bailey sitting out, it was Walt Clayton Junior's turn to take on the offensive load.
Clayton poured in 20 points in Utah's 86-82 victory over Oklahoma City Wednesday night at the Huntsman Center. The Jazz went 3-0 in the Salt Lake City Summer League.
Clayton made 4 of 10 three-pointers to go along with four assists in the game.
Sensabaugh, Bailey shine in Jazz Summer League win
'I think it's been good,' Clayton said about his Summer League experience so far. 'Any time you can win games, I think it's a great thing. The whole experience has been great, and obviously there's been a lot of learning as the days goes on.'
Kyle Filipowski recorded his second straight double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds, wrapping up a fantastic three-game stretch for the second year player.
Filipowski has come a long way since his first Summer League experience last year as a rookie.
'This last year has been crazy journey for me so far,' Filipowski said. 'It's helped me to get to where I am now. I think it's just helped me grow my confidence going into this Summer League. Those things that I need to focus on and how I can affect the game other than just scoring.'
Elijah Harkless added 11 points, while Isaiah Collier scored 8 points with 6 assists.
Utah had a three-point lead at the half, and led by as many as 18 points in the third quarter. The Thunder stormed back to take an 80-79 lead with under three minutes to play, but Clayton hit his fourth three-ball of the game with 2:31 left to give the Jazz the lead for good.

Utah will next travel to the Las Vegas Summer League, where they will take on Charlotte on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
