Katy Perry shares 'life purpose' hint amid Orlando Bloom split in cryptic post
Katy Perry has shared a cryptic post about her life purpose, just days after she reportedly split from her fiance Orlando Bloom after spending nine-years togther Katy Perry has sparked speculation about her "life purpose" by sharing a cryptic message on her Instagram days after allegedly spliting from Orlando Bloom. The couple have seen ups and downs since they first dated in 2016. They went Instagram official in May 2016 when the musician shared a funny photo of herself and Orlando dressed in bathrobes on the steps of the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cannes, France. This isn't the first time the high-profile duo has reportedly parted ways. Katy and Orlando, who initially got together in 2016, called it quits in 2017. They rekindled their romance in 2018 and announced their engagement the following year. That same year, they also decided to cohabit. The couple welcomed their little girl, Daisy Dove, into the world in August 2020. Katy reposted a video from a digital guru who uses "the laws of the universe" to transform lives, suggesting that mastering these laws can "heal" one's life. In the shared clip, the guru stated, "The phase of the moon that was during your date of birth determines your purpose." Katy, known for hits like Teenage Dream, shared the video without adding any personal commentary, leaving fans to wonder if she was hinting at her own life's purpose. The video explained that those born during a Waning Crescent moon phase are here to "If you were born on a Waning Crescent, you are here to complete the mission that you feel. You are closing chapters no longer beneficial to the collective. You are laying groundwork for new beginnings. Your role is to be a savior to others." The singer also updated her fans with clips from her live performances, including a compilation from The Lifetimes Tour, showcasing her energetic stage presence. As she continues her international tour in Australia, she captioned her concert footage, "ONLY 4 SHOWS LEFT IN AUSTRALIA LFG ADELAIDE." Notably, Katy's social media activity seemed to sidestep the recent news about her split from Orlando Bloom, with a source telling US Weekly, "Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It's not contentious at the moment." As the story unfolded, it was shared that "Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life," reports Mirror US. Prior to this, a source close to the couple shed light on their strained relationship, admitting, "It's true they're spending time apart." The strain between them became evident when it was revealed, "They have been spending more and more time apart. They've grown apart and aren't living the same lives anymore." A source detailed how the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor took Daisy to see her mum before he jetted off to Italy for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's lavish wedding celebrations in Venice this week. "They're keeping it civil," the insider emphasised.

Moon phase today: What the moon will look like on June 23, 2025
If you're wondering how bright the moon will be tonight, keep reading. We've got all the information you need for tonight's moon, as well as what you can or cannot spot on its surface as it works through the lunar cycle. The lunar cycle is a series of eight phases of the moon's visibility, based on how much light the sun shines on it. The whole cycle takes about 29.5 days, according to NASA, and these different phases happen as the Sun lights up different parts of the moon whilst it orbits Earth. Here's what the moon is doing today, June 23, 2025. As of Monday, June 23, the moon phase is Waning Crescent. In this phase, the moon is only very slightly lit. In fact, NASA tells us only 5% of the moon's surface will be visible to us. Today also marks day 27th of the lunar cycle. With so little of the moon lit up, the chances of spotting basins and craters with the naked eye are much less. Your only chance of spotting some moon landscape tonight is with binoculars or a telescope. If you have either of these, you have a chance of seeing the Grimaldi Basin. The Grimaldi Basin is an impact basin about 248 miles long. For stargazers in the Northern Hemisphere, concentrate your gaze to the middle left of the moon's surface. If you're in the Southern Hemisphere, it's the middle right. June's full moon was on June 11. The next full moon will be on July 10. NASA tells us that the moon's phases are caused by the angles between the sun, moon, and Earth. Moon phases are how the moon looks from Earth as it goes around us. We always see the same side of the moon, but how much of it is lit up by the Sun changes depending on where it is in its orbit. So, sometimes it looks full, sometimes half, and sometimes not there at all. There are eight main moon phases, and they follow a repeating cycle New Moon - The moon is between Earth and the sun, so the side we see is dark (in other words, it's invisible to the eye). Waxing Crescent - A small sliver of light appears on the right side (Northern Hemisphere). First Quarter - Half of the moon is lit on the right side. It looks like a half-moon. Waxing Gibbous - More than half is lit up, but it's not quite full yet. Full Moon - The whole face of the moon is illuminated and fully visible. Waning Gibbous - The moon starts losing light on the right side. Last Quarter (or Third Quarter) - Another half-moon, but now the left side is lit. Waning Crescent - A thin sliver of light remains on the left side before going dark again.

Chennai residents can expect a hot and occasionally wet day on June 21, 2025, with temperatures reaching 37.7°C and an 89% chance of rain. The day will feature scattered showers, moderate humidity at 42%, and winds up to 24.1 km/h, creating a mix of sunshine and precipitation typical for the season. The morning will start dry with temperatures steadily climbing toward the afternoon peak. Light showers of 0.28 mm are anticipated in the late afternoon or evening, offering brief relief from the heat. The minimum temperature will remain at 30.3°C throughout the day. The weather conditions suggest wearing lightweight, breathable clothing and carrying water for hydration. Morning hours are optimal for outdoor activities before potential afternoon showers. While rain chances are high, the expected precipitation will be light, requiring only basic rain protection. The humidity level of 42% will make the heat more manageable, while the consistent breeze throughout the day will provide some comfort. However, the midday sun will remain intense, making sun protection necessary. Upcoming Week Forecast The upcoming week shows varying weather patterns in Chennai. June 22 will bring increased cloud cover and higher rain probability, with temperatures dropping to 35.2°C. Monday and Tuesday will maintain this pattern with scattered showers and maximum temperatures between 33-37°C. Midweek temperatures will rise again, with Wednesday reaching 37.5°C and Thursday hitting 36.7°C, accompanied by minimal rain chances. The weekend forecast indicates temperatures between 36-37°C with occasional drizzles. Astronomical Event The lunar cycle will transition from a Waning Crescent to a New Moon in the coming days. This astronomical event will result in darker nights, potentially offering clear sky viewing opportunities after the rain clears. The wind speed will peak at 24.1 km/h, helping to moderate the day's warmth. Despite the high chance of rain, the showers are expected to be scattered and light, maintaining the day's predominantly warm characteristics. The combination of high temperatures and scattered precipitation creates a typical seasonal weather pattern for Chennai during this period. The weather conditions will continue to alternate between warm temperatures and occasional rainfall throughout the week.
