The officer told Kove that it was '100%' up to his co-star if she wanted to press charges against him, then asked what reason he had to bite her. 'I really apologize. I was just playing because we're very playful together, and I bit down too hard,' Kove explained, prompting Hannah-Kim to turn toward the officer in shock over his reasoning. 'She's got a mouth mark on her,' the officer replied. The Australian actress then sternly told Kove they 'do not play like that' and passionately told him his actions made her 'really pissed.' 'You have left a mark on my body, which in your 80-year-old brain, you think is 'play,'' she scolded him. 'Sir, were you raised in a ditch?' 5 The officer told Kove that it was '100%' up to his co-star if she wanted to press charges against him, then asked what reason he had to bite her. Puyallup Police Dept. Hannah-Kim then further chastised the 'Karate Kid' villain for losing his temper with her when she confronted him over the bite. 'You yelled at me! You had the audacity! Martin Kove accused of biting, then kissing, ‘Cobra Kai' co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim's arm

Martin Kove, who stars as John Kreese on 'Cobra Kai,' allegedly bit a co-star — hard — on Sunday at a fan convention in Washington state. Alicia Hannah-Kim, who joined the Netflix series as Kim Da-Eun in the show's fifth season, was on her way to her booth when she tapped Kove on the shoulder to say hello in an area where the show's cast was hanging out, according to a Puyallup Police Department report obtained by The Times. Kove's reaction appears to have shocked her. 'When Alicia did this Martin Kove suddenly grabbed her arm and bit her upper arm so hard it nearly drew blood, and she yelled out in pain,' an officer who was assigned to VIP security at Washington State Summer Con wrote in the report. 'Once Martin Kove finished biting her arm, he grabbed her arm again and began kissing it where he bit her.' The officer said the actor had a 'very noticeable bite mark on her arm that was already turning blue and bruising' when she showed it to him. When Hannah-Kim, 37, and her husband-handler Sebastian Roche, went to talk to the 78-year-old actor immediately after the incident, Kove 'exploded' and said he had done nothing wrong, the report said. That's when the couple got the police involved. Kove admitted to the officer that he had bitten his co-star's arm and said he 'did it out of jest' and 'thought he was being funny,' the report said. The officer said in the report that he told Kove that biting Hannah-Kim was illegal and could be investigated as an assault. Kove could potentially be arrested or cited, the officer said. Kove said 'something to the effect of he said sorry already,' then 'appeared to see how serious' the situation was and began to apologize in the officer's presence. Hannah-Kim told the officer privately that she did not want to pursue charges but wanted a report filled out in case it happened again. Kove declined the opportunity to file a handwritten statement about what had happened, the report said. Roche did give a handwritten statement in which he noted that Kove had 'resorted to being very angry at us' when he and his wife confronted him about the incident. Hannah-Kim and Kove both play head senseis on 'Cobra Kai.' A representative for Kove, who has more than 230 acting credits including 'Death Race 2000,' 'Wyatt Earp,' 'VFW' and the 'Karate Kid' movies, did not respond immediately on Tuesday to The Times' request for comment.

Cobra Kai Star Alicia Hannah-Kim Accuses Martin Kove of Biting, Assaulting Her during Fan Convention

Cobra Kai star Alicia Hannah-Kim has accused actor Martin Kove of biting and assaulting her during Washington State Summer Con in Puyallup. The organizers of the fan convention reportedly kicked out the actor, 78, after his co-star accused him of assaulting her on Sunday (June 22). According to the media reports, Hannah-Kim informed a law enforcement officer on duty at the venue that the actor bit her arm during the event. The actress said she screamed out in pain, and her co-star began kissing her on the area. An informational police report stated that the Cobra Kai star Hannah-Kim claimed that her co-star attacked her when she stopped by the VIP area to say hi to the actor. He attacked her when she tapped him on the shoulder as a gesture to greet him at their cast booth. The actress claimed that her husband, Sebastian Roche, witnessed the attack. When the couple confronted the actor, he insisted that he did nothing wrong. "I walked past Martin Kove, tapped him on the shoulder, and said hello & he turned around, grabbed my arm, and BIT DOWN HARD, almost drawing blood. I yelped and drew back, and then he grabbed my arm again to kiss it. I had visible teeth marks and immediate bruising and pain. We approached Martin in the green room later (30 minutes), and he was furious, outraged, and visibly angry when I told him calmly not to bite me. He insisted he bit me for fun," the actress explained in a handwritten statement to police. The report further stated that Hannah-Kim found an on-site officer and informed him about the assault. The officer noticed "a bite mark on her arm that was already turning blue and bruising". When the officer questioned the actor, he admitted to biting his co-star and claimed that "he did it out of jest". "He thought he was being funny, and they play fight all the time on the set of Cobra Kai, and he did not think it was a big deal," the report read. The law enforcement officer then informed Kove that the assault was illegal and would not be tolerated in the future. The actor claimed that he was messing around and did not mean it to be perceived as unlawful. He was later escorted out of Summer Con. Although Hannah-Kim did not press charges against her co-star, she requested the report to be taken if this continues. Kove joined Netflix's show Cobra Kai as Johnny Lawrence's (William Zabka) mentor in 2018, and Hannah-Kim starred in the series as Kim Da-Eun during seasons 5 and 6.

Charlie Cox says he feels like fraud after voicing Gustave in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Charlie Cox, best known for portraying Marvel's Daredevil, has modestly dismissed praise for his role in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, despite the game receiving critical acclaim and becoming one of 2025's standout releases. Charlie Cox talks Clair Obscur Expedition 33! — 😈DD (@ChereNatalija) June 22, 2025 Speaking during a panel at Washington State Summer Con on June 21, Cox admitted he hasn't played the game and felt unworthy of the recognition he's received for voicing Gustave, the main protagonist. 'Apparently the game is awesome. I'm not a gamer, I have no idea, I haven't played it,' Cox said. 'I was in the studio for four hours, maybe… I feel like a total fraud.' The game, developed by Sandfall Interactive—a small studio with big ambitions—features an impressive voice cast, including Cox, Andy Serkis, Ben Starr, and Jennifer English. Despite the short recording sessions, performances were widely praised. Cox emphasized that he didn't mean to diminish the project's success, adding, 'I'm so thrilled for the company… so thrilled it did really well.' Other cast members, however, praised the unique and streamlined recording experience. In a behind-the-scenes video by Skill Up, both Starr and English highlighted the team's efficiency. 'We recorded so quickly,' English shared. 'It was the fastest game I've ever done as far as, like, the lines per hour.' Starr echoed the sentiment, noting the director Guillaume Broche's clarity of vision. 'You turn up, and we do something, and Guillaume would go 'that one.' He knew exactly what he wanted.' While Cox may feel undeserving, the combination of seasoned voice talent and strong direction helped Clair Obscur resonate with players and critics alike, solidifying its place among the year's top games. Despite his humility, Cox's portrayal of Gustave contributed to the title's emotional depth and narrative impact.
