Gill Hauling introduces new app for Sioux City residents
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Sioux City residents now have a new way to check on the status of local trash collection right from their phones.
In a city press release Friday, waste management service Gill Hauling announced that the app WasteConnect is now available for use by Sioux City residents. The application can be downloaded on iPhones through the App Store and on Android phones through the Google Play Store.

The app promises features such as:
Waste collection schedules
Waste collection reminders
Service alerts for delays and cancellations
