Samsung leak reveals Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 FE, Watch 8 Classic colours and storage details before launch

We are just over a month away from the mid-summer Galaxy Unpacked event, where Samsung is expected to unveil its latest generation of foldable smartphones and smartwatches — the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Flip 7 FE and G Fold (most probably), along with the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic. As is tradition, the company typically launches two foldable phones and two smartwatches at this mid-year event, along with other accessories and sometimes tablets. However, the foldables and smartwatches have always remained the highlight. All of that may change this year — or at least, that's what the rumour mill is far, leaks suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is coming with a super-thin and lightweight design. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is also rumoured to feature a larger screen, along with an Exynos chip under the hood. Then there's the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, expected to debut as the first-ever foldable Fan Edition device. And finally, we have the Galaxy G Fold — Samsung's first triple-fold smartphone, a device about which very little is currently known to a report by WinFuture, the Galaxy Unpacked event will see the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Z Flip 7 FE, alongside the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic. What does this mean for the earlier rumour about the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE launching with the Galaxy S25 FE in September? It's possible that Samsung could announce the Z Flip 7 FE at Unpacked and release it later in the year. Similarly, the Galaxy G Fold might also be teased at the event — perhaps something like a sneak peek, similar to what Samsung did earlier this year with the S25 Anything is possible at this point, and we'll have to wait for official details. The launch date for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 is tipped to be July 10, which would be the same date as last year's foldable per the rest of the report, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to come in three colours: silver, black and blue. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is also said to arrive in three shades: black, blue and coral red. Whether the blue colour is the same across both models remains to be seen. However, we've already seen coral red on the Galaxy S25, and chances are the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will adopt the same finish. Additionally, just like the Z Flip 6, the Z Flip 7 is expected to come in two storage variants: 256GB and 512GB, with 12GB RAM as for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, it is said to come in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. Rumoured colourways include black and when it comes to smartwatches, the standard Galaxy Watch 8 is said to come in grey and silver options, expected in 40mm and 44mm sizes, respectively. The Watch 8 Classic, on the other hand, is likely to be available in black and white.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic leaked in full glory, design and other details revealed

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, rumoured to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked in July alongside the company's foldable smartphones, has leaked in all its glory. From the looks of it, one could say — if the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and the Galaxy Watch Ultra had a baby, this is what it would look like. Folks over at SammyGuru, in collaboration with OnLeaks, have brought the first CAD renders of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic smartwatch, giving us a detailed preview of what to expect. Source: OnLeaks x SammyGuru advertisementAccording to the report, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is said to retain the same button layout as the Watch Ultra model. However, the biggest change comes in the form of the rotating bezel, which was last seen two years ago on the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Apart from this, the squircle-shaped frame does remind us of the Watch Ultra, but since the rotating bezel is making a comeback, we can't call the Watch 8 Classic a direct successor to the the past few years, Samsung seems to have alternated between its Classic and more rugged smartwatch offerings. The third and fourth generations arrived in successive years, followed by the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which took a more outdoor-focused approach. The sixth generation marked the return of the Classic, only for Samsung to introduce the Galaxy Watch Ultra as its seventh-generation flagship last year — a clear evolution from the Watch 5 Pro. Now, with the eighth generation, all signs point to the return of the Classic line, setting the stage for the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic to take the Apart from this, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is expected to feature a 1.5-inch display — probably an AMOLED panel, just like the Galaxy Watch models from previous years. The dimensions are said to be approximately 46 x 46.5 x 14.2mm. According to a separate report by SammyGuru, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic was listed with model numbers SM-L500 (Bluetooth) and SM-L505 (LTE), suggesting there would be two variants of the upcoming smartwatch. When it comes to endurance, the Watch 8 Classic is rumoured to feature a 435mAh battery, which is bigger than the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic's 425mAh unit, but much smaller than the 590mAh battery of the Watch Ultra. The rotating bezel could be the likely reason for the smaller battery inside the Watch 8 Classic, as its inclusion will take up extra internal get to know more details about the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic in the coming months, as we approach its launch. Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic with rotating bezel all but confirmed ahead of tentative July launch

Samsung is expected to launch its next-generation smartwatches, and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic seems to be making a comeback — with the iconic rotating bezel likely to return. A new Bluetooth SIG certification, spotted by xpertpick, has confirmed the existence of a device called the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, carrying the model number SM-L505U. This certification usually means the launch is just around the corner, possibly within a few weeks. Given Samsung's track record, the brand is expected to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event in July, where it may unveil the Galaxy Watch 8 lineup alongside new foldables, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the more affordable Z Flip 7 FE. While the certification doesn't reveal any new specs, the listing of the Classic name itself is a big hint — suggesting that the popular rotating bezel feature, which has long been a fan-favourite, could make its has had a mixed approach when it comes to the rotating bezel. It was once a standard feature in its Classic models, allowing users to navigate the smartwatch interface in a more tactile and intuitive way. However, in 2021, Samsung removed the feature with the standard Galaxy Watch 4, brought it back with the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, and skipped it again in 2024 when it introduced the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch 7 — both lacking a Classic edition. The decision had many wondering whether Samsung was done with the rotating bezel for why the arrival of a new Classic variant in 2025 is significant. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, as revealed by its name in the Bluetooth SIG listing, signals a return to what many fans have been asking for. While there's no official word on specs, battery life, or features just yet, a SafetyKorea certification has already hinted that the Watch 8 Classic will have a decently sized battery — though the exact capacity is still under wraps. For reference, the standard Watch 8 models are tipped to feature 435mAh batteries. Expect the Classic variant to offer similar or slightly better endurance. In total, Samsung seems to be preparing at least two models for the Galaxy Watch 8 series — the regular Watch 8 and the Watch 8 Classic. Model numbers SM-L320, SM-L325U, SM-L330, and SM-L335U are believed to belong to the base Watch 8, while SM-L505 and SM-L500 point towards Classic variants.
