Tejas Networks launches 1.2 Tbps coherent DWDM solution at Bharat Telecom Conference

By News Desk Published on May 6, 2025, 17:19 IST Tejas Networks [BSE: 540595, NSE: TEJASNET] today announced the launch of its cutting-edge 1.2 Terabit-per-second single wave coherent Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology at the Bharat Telecom 2025 conference held in New Delhi. The product was unveiled by Union Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia. At the Telecom Export Promotion Council (TEPC)-hosted event at Hotel Taj Palace, Tejas also showcased its latest innovations in telecom networking, including 5G Massive MIMO radios, 10Gbps symmetric fiber broadband based on XGS-PON, and high-capacity IP/MPLS routers for access and aggregation. Union Minister Scindia praised Tejas Networks for being at the forefront of indigenous telecom innovation, stating, 'It's a matter of great pride that home-grown companies like Tejas are leading from the front in advancing wireless and wireline networking innovations and contributing to realizing the vision of an 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' in the telecom sector.' Arnob Roy, COO of Tejas Networks and Chairman of TEPC, highlighted the government's enabling role, saying, 'Our new DWDM product enables organic multi-fold network capacity growth in a cost-effective manner.
