Beloved Ice Cream Brand Just Announced a 'Genius' New Flavor That Fans Say is Long Overdue
I can confidently say that I've never turned down a drumstick—chicken or otherwise. They're handheld and ultra portable, great no matter what the weather is and no one's judging you if you eat more than one (or 12). What more could you ask for? The only downside to enjoying a chicken drumstick, though, is the dreaded and seemingly unavoidable sogginess that eventually penetrates that crispy, crunchy exterior that we all know and love. It doesn't necessarily make them less delicious, just not as appealing as that initial satiating, sound-barrier-breaking crunch. Guy Fieri gets it.
On the bright side, Drumstick ice cream cones don't have that problem at all. The cones themselves were originally formulated to avoid the inevitable sog factor associated with traditional ice cream cones without a protective barrier between the sweet, creamy inside and the crispy, crunchy outside. To solve the problem, the Parker brothers had the genius idea to coat the interior of the cone with chocolate, and the rest is history. Even more impressive (or perplexing, according to some corners of the internet) is the fact that Drumsticks are formulated to melt slower than traditional ice cream, allowing you to savor the flavor no matter how sweltering hot it gets outside.
All that innovation begs the question: how could they make the Drumstick better than it already is? By adding peanut butter into the mix, of course! That's right, folks, one of America's favorite treats is getting a peanut buttery upgrade, and fans say, 'This may be their best one yet.'

According to @candyhunting on Instagram, the iconic frozen cone brand announced that shoppers can expect the new We Love Peanut Butter Pack to hit stores soon, including eight cones in either peanut butter or chocolate peanut butter flavors will include a peanut butter center, peanut butter or chocolate peanut butter ice cream and the iconic chocolatey coating, complete with crispy cookie pieces throughout. The packs retail for $9.99 and are available at retailers nationwide.
You might want to hurry and grab yours, though, because judging by the response from fans, these won't stay stocked for long. 'Never was one for drumsticks, but I have to try peanut butter, tho! 😍' said one excited shopper. Another agreed, 'pb is IN this year, and I'm here for it 🔥' Sounds like we've got to get a move on.
