Nearly a year since its theatrical release, Lal Salaam is finally set to make its digital debut. The film, which was released in 2023 and failed to leave a mark in cinemas, is now arriving on OTT for Bakrid on June 6 on the

Lal Salaam is a 2024 Tamil-language sports action drama directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Superstar Rajinikanth makes an extended cameo appearance.
Lal Salaam follows Thiru and Shamsuddin, two talented cricketers from Murarbad, a village where Hindus and Muslims coexist peacefully. Despite their childhood rivalry, their families remain close. However, political forces seek to exploit their differences for electoral gain. A cricket match turns violent, injuring Shamsuddin and triggering communal unrest. Thiru, ostracised by his village, redeems himself by winning matches to fund a local temple festival. In Mumbai, he unknowingly saves Shamsuddin during a riot, mending their bond. When the true instigator, Raj, is exposed, harmony is restored as both communities unite to celebrate the Thiruvizha together.
