Paresh Rawal Says Aamir Khan Is Detailed, Salman Khan Is 'Hawa Ka Jhoka': 'Pata Nahi Chalta…'

Paresh Rawal compares Salman Khan's instinctive charm to Aamir Khan's detailed process, says both actors have very different ways of working on set. Paresh Rawal, who has acted alongside nearly every major star in Bollywood, recently shared his perspective on the very different ways Aamir Khan and Salman Khan work on set. In a recent interview, the veteran actor opened up about what it's really like to share screen with both superstars. Chatting with Bollywood Bubble, Paresh praised Salman for his ease and natural presence in front of the camera. 'Salman understands a scene on a gut level. He is such a charming fellow. On screen, he is magic. When he comes on set, he doesn't have to work too hard. He just flows with it." He then explained how Aamir's approach is more calculated and deeply involved, often requiring more time to get into character. 'Aamir has to work around and know things in depth and detail. That is why Aamir sahab thoda time lete hai. Meanwhile, Salman is hawa ka jhoka, kab aaya, udake ke le gaya, pata bhi nahi chalta." Paresh, who's been part of several films with both stars, noted that each actor's method works for them, even if their processes are entirely opposite. As of now, Paresh Rawal is keeping busy with a string of new projects. He'll be seen next in Nikita Roy, a thriller also starring Sonakshi Sinha, set to hit theatres on 18 July. Earlier this year, fans were disappointed when Paresh Rawal revealed he wouldn't be reprising his iconic role as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, citing personal reasons and creative disagreements. Following his exit, Akshay Kumar reportedly issued a legal notice, concerned about delays in the production schedule. However, it has now been resolved. During a recent podcast with Himanshu Mehta, Paresh confirmed his return, saying, 'The film was going to happen anyway; we just needed a bit of fine-tuning. After all, everyone involved, Priyadarshan, Akshay, Suniel, we've been friends for so many years. It was just a matter of realigning." Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is expected to start shooting in early 2026. He's also part of Welcome To The Jungle, an action-comedy headlined by Akshay Kumar, which is expected to resume production in mid-2025. Another upcoming film on Paresh's plate is Bhooth Bangla, a horror comedy that reunites him with Akshay and Tabu, directed by Priyadarshan.
