Deion Sanders Jr. sets record straight on $500,000 Rolls-Royce after Shedeur speculation
Deion Sanders Jr. is setting the record straight about the Rolls-Royce that was speculated to be his brother Shedeur's. A video showed Shedeur on a FaceTime call during the delivery of the car, believed to be worth roughly $500,000. But when an X post stated Shedeur bought it for himself, the Browns rookie QB called it 'another lie' and said he's 'focused on my team, not a car purchase.' In a YouTube video posted Wednesday, Deion Jr. said the car was delivered to him as a sample. 3 Deion Sanders Jr. shows off the Rolls-Royce. Y'all just made your own story and ran with it,' Deion Jr. said in a video titled 'Y'ALL GOTTA STOP LYING…..' on his Well Off Media YouTube channel. Deion Jr. said he can drive the sample for up to 30 days and is deciding between that or a Bentley Mulsanne, which, depending on the model, can cost almost $350,000. 3 Shedeur Sanders at the Browns rookie minicamp on May 10, 2025. AP Shedeur has been a target for criticism as he was once projected to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but after reports about rubbing teams the wrong way, he fell all the way to No. 144 overall in the fifth round, two rounds after Cleveland took another quarterback, Dillon Gabriel. Shedeur was the victim of a prank call during the draft as Jax Ulbrich, son of ex-Jets interim coach and current Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, got Sanders' number off an open iPad in his parents' home and made the quarterback think he was getting selected when he wasn't. Jax issued an apology, and Jeff was fined $100,000, while the Falcons were fined $250,000. Shedeur is in a quarterback room featuring Gabriel, Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco; Deshaun Watson, also on the roster, is expected to miss the entire 2025 season after re-tearing his Achilles while rehabbing a tear initially suffered during last season.

NFL investigating prank call made to Shedeur Sanders during 2025 NFL Draft
The NFL is investigating a prank phone call that quarterback Shedeur Sanders received during the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Sanders took the call on a recently purchased phone with a number that was supposedly only given to NFL teams to contact him during the draft. Yet someone was able to get the number and pretend to be New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis, acting as if he was informing Sanders he was being selected by the team, yet then being told he would have to wait. Advertisement After the call was disconnected and Sanders realized it was a prank, he explained to family and friends at his draft party that the phone was tied to a private number "Nobody has that number but coaches, strictly for that reason," Sanders said. If that's true, the NFL wants to know how someone besides a team coach, executive or player had access to the number and was able to call Sanders. The league is now investigating the matter, a spokesperson told Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio. Of most concern is the security of private communications during the draft. If a prankster can get phone numbers and call prospects and team officials, that could potentially disrupt the process by which teams communicate with players and their representation. Advertisement The call was recorded on camera by Well Off Media, the YouTube channel run by Shedeur's older brother, Deion Sanders Jr.. What appears to be a call from the Saints and the subsequent conversation begins at the 10:15 mark. New Orleans soon selected Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough with the No. 40 pick. Sanders was eventually selected on Saturday during the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns. The pranksters posted a video of their side of the call on social media, showing two people while the conversation occurs. The clip ends with them laughing in disbelief over what they did, but the account showing the video was soon made private after circulating online. Advertisement Since those two people involved with the call were seen on camera, their identities will likely be determined soon, if they haven't already. The question now is whether or not they might be associated with any NFL personnel who had Sanders' private phone number. It's also possible that this sort of thing happens more than realized. Quarterback Kyle McCord said he received some prank calls before he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round on Saturday. Last year, defensive back Cooper DeJean was also pranked before the Eagles selected him in the second round.

Deion Sanders left with egg on his face as Shedeur draft prediction backfires
Deion Sanders was left red-faced after his bold prediction about his son Shedeur Sanders' NFL Draft prospects fell flat when the young quarterback missed out on the first round . Colorado's head coach Deion Sanders - who was not happy of ESPN's coverage of the draft - seemed set for a big win with two of his star players expected to go early in the NFL Draft, as Travis Hunter was snapped up second overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars. But his quarterback son didn't hear his name called among the top picks, despite Coach Prime's confident claim that he'd be a top-five selection . The Tennessee Titans opted for Miami quarterback Cam Ward first, leaving Shedeur's potential destinations like the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, New Orleans Saints, and Pittsburgh Steelers to pass him over. Adding insult to injury, the Giants made a late first-round move to grab Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart at No. 25. Where yo son going? Lololol I got time today. Lololol," Deion had quipped in May last year in response to a critic doubting his son's prospects. X's Community Notes service added insult to injury by commenting on Deion's post: "Shedeur Sanders was not a top 5 draft pick." Reports suggest that negative feedback from team interviews contributed to Shedeur's slide down the draft board. One quarterback coach labeled Sanders as "brash" and "arrogant." Furthermore, an assistant coach told NFL Network that Shedeur came across as "entitled" during what he called "the worst formal interview" he had ever experienced. Shedeur Sanders still has viable options in the second round (Image: Getty Images) These harsh critiques prompted both Deion and Shedeur to confront the quarterback's detractors head-on. "I truly don't have any space for negativity, so it doesn't play a factor in my life at all," Shedeur told NBC News. "I understand the easiest thing in the world to do is to be negative instead of positive. I truly don't care what people have to say." "We like to call that stuff out, though," said Coach Prime. "I know who it is, you're going to make me call him out. You know what team-don't make me pull behind the curtain and step in that thing... I try my best to keep it on the high road but I don't know the address!" Amid the suspense of draft night, Shedeur stayed positive as the selections unfolded, surrounded by friends and family, even as his father Deion became noticeably frustrated with the teams overlooking his son. But after dropping out of the first night's picks, Shedeur sent out an assured message. "We all didn't expect this, of course, but I feel like with God, anything is possible, everything is possible. I don't feel like this happened for no reason," Shedeur said in a 'Well Off Media' video.

Byron Leftwich seen at Colorado's practice after Deion Sanders said 'big moves are close'
Byron Leftwich seen at Colorado's practice after Deion Sanders said 'big moves are close' Deion Sanders said yesterday that we should expect some big moves on the coaching staff in the next few weeks. Moves may happen sooner rather than later, with one seemingly close to becoming official. Courtesy of Coach Prime's son and Well Off Media's Deion Sanders Jr., former Super Bowl-winning offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich was spotted sporting Colorado football gear and holding a play sheet during Tuesday's practice. Nothing is official, and Deion Sanders is known to bring noteworthy NFL figures to "consult" at various practices. But seeing Leftwich decked out in Colorado gear is a positive sign for his possible future joining the Colorado coaching staff. Leftwich, a former NFL quarterback, last coached with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as their offensive coordinator from 2019 to 2022. He teamed up with head coach Bruce Arians and future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady to win Super Bowl LV. After the 2021 season, Leftwich interviewed with several NFL head coach openings but was not hired. He was fired from Tampa Bay after the 2022 season and hasn't held an official coaching role since. Advertisement As a player, Leftwich was the No. 7 overall pick to the Jaguars in 2003. He played 10 seasons in the NFL, throwing for 10,532 yards with 58 touchdowns and 42 interceptions. He won Super Bowl XLIII with the Pittsburgh Steelers as Ben Roethlisberger's backup. Leftwich would be a tremendous hire for Colorado, as both Arians and Brady applauded him for turning the Buccaneers' offense around. Leftwich's potential role on the Colorado coaching staff remains to be seen, but he would likely be heavily involved with the quarterbacks and offensive game planning. Deion Sanders lectures player about Band-Aids over his earrings
Colorado football coach Deion Sanders delivered a stern message to his team Monday about penalties, Band-Aids and earrings – a lecture designed to grab his players' attention about something they've sometimes lacked in his first two seasons. Discipline. The Buffaloes committed the third-most penalties in the nation in 2023 (107) and the most in the Big 12 Conference in 2024 (100). He reminded his team about it Monday after returning to campus in Boulder following a brief respite in Texas. 'Last in the conference in penalties, right?' Sanders said to his team, as documented on Well Off Media, a YouTube channel run by his eldest son Deion Jr. 'So that means no discipline, right?' Sanders then singled out an unidentified player who apparently had showed up for the team workout wearing bandages over his earrings. Sanders has prohibited earrings while in uniform and during meetings. FIXING ANOTHER PROBLEM: Colorado increases investment in offensive line coaching under Deion Sanders 'We got one cat out here with Band-Aids over his ears,' Sanders said. 'What that mean? That means `I'm gonna wear my earrings, but I'm gonna put a Band-Aid over them, because I ain't gonna listen to y'all because I ain't got no discipline.' Does that mean that? What that mean? What that mean? That mean you gonna do you right? Forget us. Anybody else out here with earrings in? Anybody else besides one dude?' Sanders gave the player a warning, telling him he'd be on the 'first thing smoking' if he did it again – a reference to transportation out of town. 'Come out here like that again, please,' Sanders told him. 'I promise you you'll be on the first thing smoking. You got that?' 'Yes sir,' the player replied. 'Discipline,' Sanders said. 'Discipline.' The Buffs finished 9-4 in Sanders' second season last year and will begin the third spring practice season under him March 11. They begin the 2025 season Aug. 30 at home against Georgia Tech.
