Here's when Phoenix Suns play defending league champs in NBA Cup group play
The Phoenix Suns announced Wednesday, Aug. 13, their NBA Cup group play schedule for the 2025-26 season.
The NBA released its entire NBA Cup schedule with dates.
The Suns are in West Group A with the defending NBA champions, Oklahoma City Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz.
The Thunder defeated the T-Wolves in the Western Conference finals to advance to the 2025 finals.
Oct. 31: Jazz at Suns.
Nov. 21: T-Wolves at Suns
Nov. 26: Suns at Kings.
Nov. 28: Suns at Thunder.
The Suns open the 2025-26 regular season Oct. 22 against the Sacramento Kings at PHX Arena, league sources informed The Arizona Republic.
The full 2025-26 NBA schedule is set to be released Aug. 14.
Amazon Prime Video is showing five doubleheaders during NBA Cup group play.
October 31: Boston Celtics-Philadelphia 76ers; Los Angeles Lakers-Memphis Grizzlies.
November 7: Houston Rockets-San Antonio Spurs; Golden State Warriors-Denver Nuggets.
November 14: Rockets-New York Knicks; Warriors-Spurs.

None of the West Group A games are being broadcast on Amazon Prime. It's the only group that doesn't have a group play game scheduled on the streaming service. Only one West Group A game is being nationally televised: Minnesota at Oklahoma City on Nov. 26 on ESPN.
Amazon Prime will open its regular season NBA coverage with an Oct. 24 doubleheader: Celtics-Knicks and Timberwolves-Lakers.
Amazon Prime is part of the 11-year media rights deal with the NBA, along with Disney (ABC/ESPN) and NBC Universal, for $76 billion.
The deal runs through the 2035-36 season.
'Our new global media agreements with Disney, NBCUniversal and Amazon will maximize the reach and accessibility of NBA games for fans in the United States and around the world,' said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver when the deal was signed in July. 'These partners will distribute our content across a wide range of platforms and help transform the fan experience over the next decade.'
