Senior man, dog found dead after N.S. house fire

A 74-year-old man and a dog were found dead in a West Head, N.S., home after a fire over the weekend.
Police and fire services responded to the structure fire on West Head Road around 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, according to an RCMP news release.
The sole occupant and the dog were pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing, but at this time the cause of the fire is not considered to be suspicious.
