Three men charged after alleged robbery at gunpoint during house party, documents say
Charges are allegations only. All arrested persons are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. WEST JORDAN, Utah () — Three men have been arrested and charged after robbing a small group at gunpoint during a house party on Sunday. Vicente Everette Isais, 19, Brooks Eric Candelario, 18, and Gabriel Elias Cearrido, 22, have all been charged with aggravated robbery, prohibited dangerous weapon conduct, unlawful detention, possession of a controlled substance, and minor possession of an alcoholic product. Crews respond to fire at Salt Lake County Jail According to documents, on June 1, a West Jordan Police officer responded to a call about a weapons offense in the area of 1500 West Crystal Ridge Drive in West Jordan. The officer met the three victims a few blocks away. The victims told police that they were at a party at the residence on Crystal Ridge Drive when a group of men — later identified as Isais, Candelario, and Cearrido — approached them. One man blocked the door, while the others pulled guns on the victims and stole their jewelry and bags, documents say. One of the victims had roughly $2,000 in cash in his bag, which was taken from him at gunpoint. The necklaces the victim was wearing were also yanked off and stolen. The victims ran away from the residence and went to hide at a friend's house nearby and called the police. He located the Audi and stopped it for a traffic violation. The three men inside the vehicle were taken into custody. During a search of the Audi, four loaded handguns were located, one of which had previously been reported stolen. THC vape devices, alcoholic beverages, and a bag matching the description of the one that was stolen were also found inside the vehicle. The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office requested that Isais, Candelario and Cearrido all be detained until their court appearances, and requested pretrial detentions. MISSING: 45-year-old woman last seen in West Jordan
WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — A 45-year-old woman is missing out of West Jordan, according to the AWARE Foundation. Brenna Reynolds, 45, left her West Jordan residence in the early hours of Friday, April 25, officials said. She is described as 5'6″, 120 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was reportedly last seen driving her midnight blue Acura MDX, with license plate S25 7AT. The car has a student driver sticker on the left side of the rear hatch door. Her car was last seen on US-40 at 2050 South, heading southeast through Daniels Canyon, officials said. Reynolds' family is reportedly concerned for her wellbeing.
