The indictment states that on April 7, 2025, Westervelt knowingly had a loaded SCCY 9mm semi-automatic pistol with a scratched-off serial number in the City of Elmira.
Prior reporting states these charges followed a traffic stop where he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. At this time, police said he was found to have drugs and a gun on him.
