'We took baby on holiday and left toddler at home - we didn't want him there'

One couple recently jetted off to Morocco with their four-month-old son, as they left their two-year-old son at home with his grandmother - dividing opinions A couple have divided opinions after choosing to take their baby on holiday, but leave their toddler at home. Georgia and Chris Brown, both 30, recently took their four-month-old son, Harry, on a four-day holiday to Morocco - while leaving their two-year-old son, George, at home with his grandmother. The couple explained they wanted some 'one-on-one time' with their baby, something they felt wouldn't be possible with a toddler in tow. ‌ Georgia, a business consultant from southeast London, and Chris, a sales executive, said they gave George a similar experience when he was a baby, taking him on a trip to Sorrento, Italy. They hoped to give Harry the same chance to be the centre of attention. ‌ 'George's first holiday was all about him, and we wanted that experience with Harry,' Georgia told What's the Jam. 'With a toddler, it's a very different experience because you're always watching out for them. George is running wild, and Harry's life very much revolves around what his brother's doing.' Chris booked the holiday as a surprise birthday gift for Georgia. She was initially surprised to see that only one child was included in the booking, but understood the reasoning and found it 'quite sweet.' ‌ Georgia emphasised that George is very loved and well cared for by his grandmother while they were away. The couple also made sure to FaceTime George daily. However, after Georgia shared a video of the holiday on TikTok, the couple faced a flood of criticism online, with some accusing them of being 'bad parents' and neglecting their toddler. Others suggested financial reasons were behind the decision, which Georgia denied. ‌ 'I didn't expect the reaction,' Georgia said. 'People said 'that poor boy' and that he'll remember this forever. But he's independent and happy. We FaceTimed every day, and he had a great time with his gran.' Despite the backlash, the couple doesn't regret their choice. Since the Morocco trip in March, the whole family has been on holidays together to Germany and Ireland. 'It was lovely to have that special time with Harry,' Georgia said. 'George was well cared for, went to the zoo, and had fun with family. It was a great balance.' ‌ The online responses have been mixed - some calling the decision selfish or unfair to the older child, while others defended the Browns, emphasising the importance of parents having individual time with each child. One supporter said, 'There's nothing wrong with what you've done if the kids are left with loving family. People just don't understand how hard parenting is.' Another commented, 'It's thoughtful to give each child quality time, especially when most holidays are family ones.'

TOWIE's Ferne McCann one of millions with popular online side hustle

Ferne McCann has been making money on Vinted for years after clearing her wardrobe of items that sold from as little as £4 Ferne McCann is among the millions who turn old clothes from their wardrobes into cash. The former TOWIE star has been actively selling items on Vinted from her designer collection, including dresses and shoes being sold for a fraction of their original retail price. Under the username @fernemccann, she has nearly 100 items listed on Vinted. Judging by Ferne's review history, the mum-of-two has been making extra money from this side gig since 2022 and has achieved an almost flawless five-star rating on the app. ‌ Ferne can be seen modelling some of the garments. The telly star has also posted photos of the clothes hanging from a door or lay across the floor. ‌ She's cleared out some items from her wardrobe including a grey jumper from H&M that fetched £6. Her most recent listing is a Day 6 Satin Maxi Dress that was snapped up for £35. In one listing, Ferne is sporting a brown, medium-sized Bershka dress that she's hoping to get £17 for. Some of her more expensive pieces include a small Karen Millen top with an £85 price tag, reports Essex Live. Ferne's priciest item is a pair of size six, black and white studded Valentino heels that are available for £180. An orange cord from Secret Sewing Rooms, priced at £45, was posted six months ago but has yet to find a buyer, as reported by What's the Jam. The 34-year-old has already managed to sell a grey Zara skirt for a fiver and make £4 from a yellow Pretty Little Thing bucket hat as well as another £4 from a white H&M top. However, not all sales were small change, with a pair of white Dr Marten boots fetching £69 and a pink Self Portrait dress, which she appeared to wear to the races, selling for £80. As well as her own wardrobe, the mum has cleared out some of her children's old clothes by selling on some of their designer gear from £18. These include a grey Kenzo baby romper and a red and white Burberry polo dress. ‌ Vinted has an estimated 100 million worldwide. Specifically in the UK, there are around 16 million users, the app reports. Ferne isn't the only celeb to sell items on the platform. Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague and TV personality Katie Price are among the famous faces that are known to have accounts on the app. ‌ So, how does Vinted work? Vinted is a platform that enables people to buy and sell pre-loved items online - typically clothing, but it also includes a range of other categories like homeware. It operates as a marketplace where sellers list items with photos and descriptions, and buyers browse and make purchases. Once an item is sold, the seller receives a prepaid shipping label and has a set time (usually 5 days) to post the item to the buyer. Vinted handles the payment, and once the buyer confirms receipt of the item, the funds are released to the seller's Vinted balance and they can then transfer this into a bank account. Ferne first shot to fame on TOWIE in 2013, before taking part in ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2015, alongside fellow reality stars Vicky Pattison and Spencer Matthews. In 2017, she launched her own reality series, First Time Mum, which documented her journey as a single mum. The show was later renamed 'My Family and Me' after the birth of her second child, but it ended after 13 series in 2024. During this period, the 34-year-old also participated in Celebrity Best Home Cook and won Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Most recently, she competed in the 2025 series of Dancing on Ice, partnering with Brendyn Hatfield, but they were the second couple to be eliminated from the competition.

Online shopper shocked by weird packaging

That is one unexpected package. A UK woman picked up an online order from Vinted, an online marketplace, that she was excited to receive — only to be shocked by what it was shipped in. Kath Humphreys ordered a few clothing items, like dungarees and cardigans, for her 1-year-old daughter. Upon retrieving it from the InPost locker — a place where people can drop off or pick up packages themselves — she did a double-take. 3 Humphreys couldn't believe her eyes. Jam Press 'When I saw the cereal box, I was gobsmacked,' she told What's the Jam. Embarassed, hoping people wouldn't think she ordered cereal to an InPost locker, Humphreys quickly grabbed the bizarre packaging and ran to her car. 3 The 27-year-old quickly took to social media to share this bizarre experience. Jam Press 'The clothes are perfect but the packaging is wacky,' the 27-year-old said, also noting that the box was broken. She found the box to be so unexpected 'that it's funny.' Humphreys made it a point to complain to the seller. And she even went as far as leaving a review, instructing the seller to ship orders in better packaging going forward. The mom said that the seller responded back to her, saying, 'It was the only thing she could find,' and in turn left her a two-star review as a buyer. 3 The box was broken, to make matters worse. Jam Press Like many people would do in this unusual situation, the 27-year-old took to social media to share her experience. The photo she shared of the cereal box has received 300,000 views. While some people agreed with Humphreys — others didn't understand what the big deal was with the cereal box, as they had items shipped in weirder things. 'I had a top delivered in an old Tesco frozen chip bag,' shared one person. Another said: 'I once got a t-shirt delivered in a Tesco meal deal wrap box.' 'Opened said carrier bag and there was my item in a subway paper bag from a sandwich. I died,' said someone else. 'I don't mind it. Rather re-use items than more plastic bags,' another wrote. 'Reading the comments was entertaining and I was laughing my head off, but how is it allowed?' Humphreys questioned. 'Do people not keep carrier bags in their house anymore?' she asked. One person who understood Humphrey's frustrations wrote: 'Considering the box is ripped though, I wouldn't be giving them five stars.' 'It is funny, but as long as their clothes are okay,' another said.

Watch: NI man left red-faced after 9,600 mile takeaway mishap

A Northern Ireland man living in Australia was left red-faced after he ordered a takeaway to Ireland by mistake in a 9,600 mile mishap. Oisin Lenehan moved to Melbourne and was staying with friends Kyle, 33, and Sarah, 29, until he found a place of his own. The 29-year-old ordered two BBQ chicken pizzas, garlic bread and chips on Uber Eats, setting him back £50. After receiving confirmation that the takeaway was on its way, he realised that he'd ordered the food to an address in near Dublin which is 9,000 miles away. "I ordered from what I thought was a local place," Oisin, from Aghagallon, told What's the Jam. "It was all wonderful until I got confirmation that the order was completed and checked the summary. "The food was being sent to a place in Dublin where I'd been for a night out. "I was absolutely gutted. "My heart just dropped because we were hungry and we were going to have to go through the whole process again of deciding where to order and what we wanted." A clip of Oisin begging the takeaway to refund his order has gone viral on TikTok, racking up more than 500,000 views. Kyle says he's been inundated with messages from girls hoping to get Oisin's number. Oisin said: "I had to ring them and they gave me a refund but that's when Sarah started filming. "It's a typical thing for me to do. These incidents happen to me all the time and I didn't realise there was an audience for it. "I love that people found it funny." Oisin quit his job as a management consultant to move to Melbourne last month. Kyle added: "He's so funny. He didn't even care about the money, he just wanted the food. "He's always eating. When we decided to get a takeaway, he just jumped in with both feet and we told him to slow down. "He was so respectful on the phone. "We were laughing our heads off. "People have been messaging asking for his social media and saying he can have a takeaway delivered to their house. "We kept thinking the views would stop at half a million but they keep going."
