Jana Kramer Says Husband Allan Russell's Comments About Forbidding Her from Doing Sex Scenes Were a 'Joke'
Jana Kramer addressed her husband Allan Russell's statements about not allowing her to perform an intimate scene while on an acting job 'There's a conversation with every [job] we take,' Kramer recently told E! News Kramer also criticized fans for "[ripping] him apart" for his comments about acting in intimate scenesJana Kramer is addressing the controversial statements her husband made about her filming intimate scenes. The One Tree Hill alum, 41, spoke about her husband Allan Russell's thoughts on her taking on acting roles that would require her to be intimate with someone else, in a recent interview with E! News published Friday, June 6. 'He was joking,' Kramer told the outlet of her husband. 'There's a conversation with every [job] we take. It's the same thing with his line of work.' 'I'm not going to do something that is wildly taking my clothes off for no reason,' the actress continued. 'If it is creatively gonna move the needle and it's important to me for the role, he is so supportive.' On the Dec. 8 episode of Kramer's iHeart podcast, Whine Down, she and Russell discussed a recent episode of Yellowstone, in which Wes Bentley and Dawn Olivieri's characters had a sex scene. Without hesitation, the former soccer player told his actress wife she could never take on a similar role. 'There's not part of me that will ever, ever, ever allow that, ever, for a man to be that close to you like that,' he said. 'Never.' 'What if Taylor Sheridan has me audition and I book a role where I have to have that scene?' Kramer responded, referring to Yellowstone's creator. 'Then I will go Tommy Lee on everyone,' Russell, 43, exclaimed. 'I will be phoning the producers and threatening the producers, 'You need to change that scene. Well, this for the good of your health, you need to change this scene.' ' 'No. I wouldn't let you do that scene. No,' he added. 'That's not good for a marriage, that type of role. It's not. Especially [as] a man who's not in the acting world, it's difficult, therefore that's my opinion based on, I'm not in that world. You can keep smiling and laughing if you want. But let's flip it. Let's flip it because we always do that.' Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Speaking with E!, Kramer said that much of her success is owed to her husband. 'I do owe a lot of it to my husband,' she told the outlet. 'In the past I wouldn't have focused so much on the work because I was so worried about, 'OK, what woman is he cheating on me with?' I wasn't able to truly settle and be confident.' 'He's like, 'I'm your lucky charm.' I'm like, 'No, you are!' It's been great,' she added, noting that Russell makes her feel 'not only supported, but loved and like I can do my work.' Kramer also criticized fans for "[ripping] him apart" for his comments about acting in intimate scenes. 'That's what marriage is—it's a conversation. It's not like, 'No, you cannot do this.' I don't think that's healthy,' she finished. The actress and country music star tied the knot with the 44-year-old Scottish soccer player on July 13, 2024, during an intimate wedding at Carnell Estate in Scotland. The pair have a blended family with Kramer's daughter Jolie, 9, and son Jace, 6, Russell's teenager Troy, and Kramer and Russell's son Roman, 1 ½. is now available in the Apple App Store! Jana Kramer speaks out after her husband claimed he would 'never' allow her to do sex scenes
Jana Kramer has insisted her husband "was joking" when he said he had forbidden her from filming sex scenes. The 41-year-old actress has been married to soccer coach Allan Russell since 2024, and even though he previously claimed he wouldn't allow her to appear on camera in any intimate scenes, she has now insisted that there is simply a "conversation" they have before she accepts any sort of acting job. She told E! News: "He was joking. "There's a conversation with every [job] we take. It's the same thing with his line of work. "That's what marriage is—it's a conversation. It's not like, 'No, you cannot do this.' I don't think that's healthy." However, the former One Tree Hill star - who has two-year-old son Roman with Allan as well as Jolie, nine, and six-year-old Jace with ex-husband Mike Caussin - explained that she will not be undressing on camera for "no reason" and that it would all have to be for something "creatively" challenging. She said: "I'm not going to do something that is wildly taking my clothes off for no reason. "If it is creatively gonna move the needle and it's important to me for the role, he is so supportive." What's more, Jana - who was initially married to Michael Gambino and then to Johnathon Schaech - insisted that her current husband is the reason behind the newfound "confidence" she has in her career. She said: "I do owe a lot of it to my husband. "In the past I wouldn't have focused so much on the work because I was so worried about, 'OK, what woman is he cheating on me with?' I wasn't able to truly settle and be confident." Despite Jana's new comments on her husband, he previously insisted that he would "never" let another man get close to her. Speaking to his wife on her Whine Down podcast, he said: 'There's not part of me that will ever, ever, ever allow that, ever, for a man to be that close to you like that. 'Never.'

Jaime King says ‘system is really unfair' after ex-husband Kyle Newman wins primary custody
Jaime King has spoken out about her custody battle with ex-husband Kyle Newman, nearly a month after a Los Angeles judge granted him sole primary custody of their two children. The 'Hart of Dixie' star and model got candid about her relationship with 'Barely Lethal' filmmaker Newman and her determination to 'protect my children' in Thursday's episode of actor Jana Kramer's podcast, 'Whine Down.' King, 45, told Kramer that the fallout of her legal battle with Newman 'is scary.' King also said she will continue to fight for her children. 'It's very upsetting, and I will do everything in my power to change this system, and it's not a will. I'm going to,' she said. 'There's no price to pay for freedom.' During the podcast, King and Kramer voiced support for each other as they bonded over their shared experiences with turbulent marriages and custody battles. 'One Tree Hill' alum Kramer has previously detailed the physical and emotional abuse she suffered in a past relationship. King told the podcast host that she had a different understanding of marriage when she tied the knot with Newman, whom she did not mention by name throughout the podcast. '[Getting married] was something I was very proud of and I just didn't know that the world works like this. I didn't know that legal systems work like this,' she said. 'Not to sound like some kind of neophyte, but I thought that when you choose to love someone, you love that person. You build a family with them and you trust them.' She added: 'Sometimes it's not always that way.' King married Newman in November 2007 and welcomed sons James and Leo in 2013 and 2015, respectively. She filed her petition to divorce Newman in May 2020, citing 'irreconcilable differences.' Though the ex-spouses settled their divorce in September 2023, they traded scathing allegations in the process. King had accused Newman of verbal and emotional abuse while Newman raised concerns about King's alleged drug and alcohol use and her struggles with addiction. The 'White Chicks' star said she has avoided speaking about the family matters because 'I never wanted my children to think that any part of them was wrong.' 'I'm extremely grateful and, at the same time, the system is really unfair. And I think that it's really important to support the structure of family,' she said. 'Kindness is the key to everything.' In the podcast, she negatively likened her custody battle to political campaigning, further voiced her issues with the legal system and accused her ex-husband of using her past struggles with addiction against her in their custody battle. 'I've never had to think about myself as sober or not sober. I stopped using drugs at 17 or something,' she said. As part of the custody decision in March, King is subject to supervised visitation — until the court rules otherwise — because she has not yet completed several requirements, including a six-month drug and alcohol program with weekly testing, aftercare and a 12-step program, according to the filing. King was also ordered to complete a 26-week parenting program, individual counseling to 'address case issues' and joint counseling with her children when the children's 'therapist deems it appropriate.' At the time, a legal representative for Newman told The Times that the filmmaker 'is happy to have his children in his safe and loving home on a full-time basis and hopes that with time Ms. King will make progress in her recovery to enable her to be a present, appropriate and responsible parent to the parties' minor children.' King in Thursday's episode also claimed that the details of the custody order were 'inaccurate.'

How Charlie Sheen's HIV Diagnosis Was Revealed to Daughters Shared With Denise Richards
looked back on one of the most difficult conversations she had with her daughters Sami Sheen and Lola Sheen. It was on the heels of their dad, going public about his HIV diagnosis. He did it without giving Denise or the girls a heads-up. Charlie and Denise had their share of scandals post-divorce and were at odds over many things like how to parent their girls and child support payments. When the former revealed on the Today show in 2015 that he was HIV positive, it was Denise who had to talk to their girls about what that meant. 'They weren't ones to Google us because we're mom and dad,' Denise shared with Jana Kramer on her Whine Down podcast. 'But I did have to tell them because this is where I was kind of upset with Charlie that he didn't warn me. It was everywhere.' Denise picked up the girls early from school that day. She didn't want the other kids at school to break the news to the girls. 'I wish he gave me a heads up, like, 'Hey, I'm doing it today,'' she admitted. At least that would have given her time to prepare. The truth is though, the two never really co-parented their girls. It was more like they parented in their own ways. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum admitted that it was 'hard to explain' to her daughters what Charlie's medical diagnosis meant. But she tried to be as forthcoming with them as possible. And it was the only time she had to share such serious information with them. Overall the former RHOBH star has tried to shelter her girls from public scandals and the ugly side of being in the public spotlight. The girls are all grown now, Sami is 21 and Lola is 19. And we're getting a peek into their family dynamics on Denise's new reality show Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. The show features Denise's kids and her husband Aaron Phypers. And for the most part, it looks like things are peaceful between Denise, Charlie, and even Charlie's other ex-wife, Brooke Mueller who is set to appear on the show. Denise Richards & Her Wild Things airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. TELL US – DO YOU THINK CHARLIE SHOULD HAVE HAD THAT CONVERSATION WITH HIS GIRLS? DID THEY DESERVE A PRIVATE HEADS-UP BEFORE HE WENT PUBLIC? The post How Charlie Sheen's HIV Diagnosis Was Revealed to Daughters Shared With Denise Richards appeared first on Reality Tea.

‘Wild Things' star Denise Richards admits she's not friends with ex Charlie Sheen, there's ‘no co-parenting'
Denise Richards is opening up about the highs and lows of raising children with an ex. During a recent appearance on the "Whine Down with Jana Kramer" podcast, the 54-year-old star discussed what it was like raising her two daughters with her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, admitting on the show that their relationship could be better. "Truthfully, it wasn't co-parenting. I parent my way. He parents his way, and there was no co-parenting," she said. "I have kids with him, and I'm not really — I'm friendly with Charlie, but I wish we were friends and that we could talk all the time and be able to be there really for each other with our girls. But that's just not the relationship we have. Maybe one day. But, I mean, right now, there's nothing. There's no discord between he and I, which is great." The former couple tied the knot in 2002 and were married for just under three years before Richards filed for divorce in March 2005, when she was pregnant with their second daughter, Lola. They welcomed their first daughter, Sami, one year prior. Following their divorce, Sheen went on to marry Brooke Mueller from 2008 to 2011, welcoming twin sons, Bob and Max, with her in March 2009. Despite no longer being married to Sheen, Richards made it a priority to make sure her daughters had a relationship with their dad and siblings. "I was always an advocate of wanting everything to be great and be friends and blend the family because he had two boys with his wife after me," she continued. "I just didn't want the girls to feel like they had to choose sides." She went on to say she always made the effort to invite Sheen to their daughters' birthday parties and family holiday celebrations, explaining she "thinks it's good for the kids to see that too." Although their marriage did not work out, she said she "never talked bad about" Sheen when her children were around but says "now that they're older, they're discovering things" from the past on their own. Richards and her family have recently put their lives on display in the new reality show, "Denise Richards & Her Wild Things." Sheen appeared on an April 1 episode of the show, when he sat down to dinner with Richards and their daughter Lola, during which she shared her fears about becoming a public figure. "I'm scared of being famous. I'm scared of what people have to say," Lola told her parents. "Don't read anything," Sheen said. "Don't read anything about it. Because if you don't read it, it doesn't exist." "Denise Richards & Her Wild Things" airs Tuesday nights on Bravo.
