Toddler killed after car crashes into pedestrians in Whitsable
A two-year-old child has died after a car crashed into pedestrians at a seaside car park.
A man in his 20 was arrested at the scene in Whitsable, Kent, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
It is understood that another man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police were called to a junction in Whitsable, Kent, at 8.24pm yesterday after receiving reports of an incident.
They have since arrested a man who remains in custody while enquiries continue, Kent Police said.
