'I absolutely love birria tacos and this new kit at Costco did not disappoint,' @costcohotfinds captioned their post, entirely unaware of the feedback she was about to receive in the comment Birria Beef Taco 8-Count with Spanish Rice and Consommé retails for $6.49 per pound, which puts the whole kit at around $25. Inside you'll find slow-roasted beef, jack cheese, eight corn tortillas, Spanish rice and a little cup of consommé for dipping. On the surface, it actually seems like a pretty solid deal—especially when your local taco truck is probably charging $15 for three birria tacos and a side of broth. But fair warning—don't go seeking approval in the comment section should you pick the kit up for yourself.
'These are the whitest 'birria' tacos I've ever seen,' one commenter wrote in response to Laura's post, while others roasted her for the way she pronounced 'birria.'

Still, despite the slices of jack cheese, dry tortillas that haven't been dipped in consommé and a scoop of Spanish rice, this kit feels like a solid jumping-off point for anyone looking for a convenient way to serve up a little variety at a get-together. And honestly, couldn't you just dip the tortillas in the consommé yourself before crisping them up in a pan?
