Our Similarities Prove Intelligent Design, Not Evolution!

Something that Darwinists claim to be one of the greatest pieces of evidence for the theory of evolution and common ancestry are biological similarities. This idea states that different species share common ancestors proven by similar physical structure and/or biology. Such similarities include the number of bones in our arms, legs, neck, the presence of a liver, a digestive system, or even an appendix. One of the most debated similarities that Darwinists present as proof for our own evolution is that certain types of primates actually share a few of the same blood types as humans. On the surface this all sounds like excellent solid evidence; but is it really? Is there no other explanation that can be offered to justify these similarities? First and foremost, one advantage that the seasoned scientist has over the general public would be the public is severely lacking in their understanding of the complexity of life and the universe. It would be very easy for a scientist to withhold specific details of discoveries that contradict their narrative, either omitting them or downplaying their importance. I believe the study of the complexity of life and the universe is one of those topics that is overly de-emphasized and even ignored. It's actually the discovery of the complexity of life and the universe that has brought many scientists to faith in God. But, since evolution is the socially accepted explanation for our origins, this narrative is aggressively driven. The problem is, what is presented to be hard core facts really does not support anything. Remember this; it is always the interpretation of the exact same set of facts that can lead us to one conclusion or the other. Additionally, the interpretation must be logically sound when held under scrutiny, not quickly skimmed over resulting in a fast-food like outcome. Allow me to give you a far more plausible explanation for these similarities. Imagine, if you would, that you are a painter. As such, you would have your own artistic style. You would select the type of canvas you like to use, the colors you frequently paint with, and even the brands of paints and tools you prefer to work with because you know what works for you. This would all achieve the desired artistic outcome you are looking for. Your paintings have some variety, but they all have your unique artistic touch. Soon others would eventually recognize your work by your familiar style and technique as well. Because you use the same tools and paint, along with your particular style, have created many similarities in your paintings. Now let's say I have two of your paintings hanging in my home. Could you imagine someone looking at them and concluding that one painting descended from the other, proven by their similarities? Sounds crazy. My guess is most would presume the same person painted both of the pictures due to artistic similarities; and they would be correct. Is it crazy to think that there are close similarities because we all have a common designer that is highly intelligent? Would it also be crazy to say this designer used what works several times for different types of life? 'You can take a lug nut off of a Pontiac and put it on a Buick, but that doesn't mean the Pontiac evolved from the Buick. It means they were both made by General Motors.' – Dr. Kent Hovind 'The proof that Darwinists really need is evidence of species change, not similarity of structure or function. Lacking that evidence, an attempt to prove the point by appearance is shallow at best.' – Vance Ferrel, 'Science vs. Evolution' p. 660. As stated above, there really is a lack of 'species change' which is the deal breaker. Charles Darwin himself stated it in his book, 'Origin of Species', 'Why is not every geological formation and every stratum full of such intermediate links? Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely graduated organic chain; and this is the most obvious and serious objection which can be urged against this theory.' – Charles Darwin, Origins of Species, pg. 413 Darwin understood that the lack of intermediate species was the hole in his theory. Missing these links really blows the doors off of any arguments for evolution. With that said, similarities cannot be explained by Darwin's theory. Of course you may argue that many missing links have been found; such as Nebraska Man, Piltdown Man, Peking Man, Lucy, and others. However, if you were to dig into the historical facts of these findings you would learn that all these have been faked by those seeking the fame of discovering the 'missing link'. Not only have we never found physical evidence for species changing, we have also never observed this process ourselves either. If all living creatures descend from a common ancestor, why do we not see this taking place today by any measure? If primates evolved into humans, why then do we STILL have primates on this earth? We have thousands of years of recorded human history on this planet, but we have NEVER recorded one type of species evolving into another. The burden of proof really is on the Darwinist. Not to mention, due to the overwhelming complexity of life, it really is a mathematical IMPOSSIBILITY for life to emerge from random change with zero intelligence. 'In the real world of scientific observation, as opposed to metaphysical speculation, however, no more complex system can ever 'evolve' out of a less complex system, so the probability of the naturalistic origin of even the simplest imaginary form of life is zero.' – Henry Morris, PH.D. The truth is the creation of life requires intent and intelligence. This intelligence appeared to have used similarities in several living things, most likely because it was deemed a good design for its intended purposes. However, this intelligence also displays a vast amount of creativity with life's abundance of differences as well. What is this intelligence? I propose it's the God of the bible, but don't take my word for it. 'In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.' – Gen 1:1 KJV '… The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.' – Psa 19:1 KJV 'For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:' – Rom 1:20 KJV Disclaimer: The views and interpretations expressed in this article are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the beliefs or positions of WiProud. Powerful Hidden Prophecy in Genesis!

This article is intended for informational and discussion purposes only. Readers are encouraged to explore multiple perspectives and conduct their own research when forming conclusions about religious texts and beliefs. If there is one thing that confirms the Bible is inspired more than anything, it's prophecy. It's the 'pre-written' history that was, and will be, all foretold in scripture. A great percentage of scripture is prophecy, but there is one prophecy that, at least for myself, is extremely profound. One that, in my opinion, tops them all. And something that makes this prophecy so interesting is the fact that it's not as obvious as most. If you were to read this section of scripture, you would more than likely breeze right by it and miss it. It's such a wonderful gem that can be found by those who dig for it. Like a priceless treasure just waiting to be discovered. So what prophecy am I talking about? Where is it? How is hidden in plain sight? Hold onto your seats, because this is pretty incredible! This particular prophecy is found in the book of Genesis. If you skip forward just a couple chapters you will find the very first genealogy in chapter 5. Now the Bible has many genealogies, most notably in Matthew 1 where scripture traces the lineage of Jesus Christ all the way back to Abraham. But Genesis chapter 5 has something very special about it. At first glance you will read a simple lineage from Adam, the first man, to Noah, the man who built the Ark and survived the Flood. The names listed are Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan, Mehalaleel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah. If you add up all the years given with the names, the generations for this genealogy span over a time period of about 1056 years from the creation of Adam to the birth of Noah. We get to learn who begat who, how long each individual lived, and that many other sons and daughters were born. However, what you don't see is the actual meaning behind each and every name that is mentioned. For those who decide to examine this will be very glad they did. Biblical names normally came from a personality trait, or things associated to them. This is called the etymology, or 'meaning' of someone's name. For instance, when God told Abraham his wife, Sarah, would give birth. Sarah, being old in age and also barren, laughed at this. When Sarah finally did give birth to a son they named him Isaac, which is the Hebrew word for 'laughter'. Again, Esau, Isaac's son, was a hairy man (Gen 27:11). If Esau were alive today, his name would literally be, Hairy. Jacob, Esau's brother, was hanging onto Esau's heel when they were born, and so his name translates as 'heel catcher' (Gen 25:26). Even Abraham's name means 'Father of many nations' (Gen 17:5). There are many many more. What does that have to do with a hidden prophecy? We find this out when we take the time to examine the meanings of the names in Genesis chapter 5? Let's take a look. Adam = Man Seth = Appointed Enosh = Subject to Death Kenan = Sorrowful Mahalalel = From the Presence of God Jared = One Comes Down Enoch = Dedicated Methuselah = Dying He Shall Send Lamech = To the Poor and Lowly Noah = Rest and Comfort Do you see anything interesting? To better illustrate what I want you to see here, let's put the meanings only together into a sentence with some punctuation…Why is this so significant? This is THE GOSPEL of Jesus Christ! This is the good news of Jesus Christ found right here in Genesis 5! You may still say, 'Well, yea… So what?' If you are thinking that statement, there may be a few key things you need to really consider. Remember, this a list of generations that span over 1000 years, and the meanings in this genealogy could not have been planned by these individuals. They didn't even know the promise of a messiah until Abraham about 300 years after the flood. It's also believed by most scholars that Moses finished the book of Genesis sometime in 1400 BC, which is still 1400+ years before Jesus Christ was even born. How was it possible for these men, starting from Adam, to orchestrate what to name these particular sons for the next one thousand years to tell of a prophecy that would happen 4400 years later with no knowledge of it? Completely and utterly IMPOSSIBLE! This kind of hidden prophecy could only have been constructed by God Himself! It's things like this in our Bibles that undeniably prove there is something supernatural about scripture. Something beyond man's knowledge and schemes. No man can predict the future with this kind of precision, thousands of years before the events takes place. This prophecy, and many others in scripture, prove that scriptures can NOT be a generic book simply written by mere men. Instead, this book is truly inspired by God with His plan of salvation in the works all the way back to the Garden of Eden! Did God Take Millions of Years to Create the Earth?

Disclaimer: The views and interpretations expressed in this article are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the beliefs or positions of WiProud. This article is intended for informational and discussion purposes only. Readers are encouraged to explore multiple perspectives and conduct their own research when forming conclusions about religious texts and beliefs. There have many attempts to fit the idea that the world is millions of years old into scripture. Before the year 1795, Christians never really questioned the age of the earth while reading the creation story in Genesis 1. The Bible's record made it clear that the world was created roughly around 4004 B.C., and there was no problems with this belief because of the genealogies leading back to Adam and Eve. In 1795, a man by the name of James Hutton published a book titled 'Theory of the Earth' that argued the earth was millions of years old, and unfortunately this is where the real doubting started for Christians. Later in 1814, Thomas Chalmers introduced the Gap Theory as an explanation in scripture where these millions of years exist. Chalmers claims stated that in between verses one and two of Genesis chapter one were millions of years, the time of the fall of Satan (which is still taught by many pastors today). Not long after that, in 1859, Charles Darwin published 'The Origin of Species', and by this time Christians had already been conditioned to freely accept millions of years into Genesis, so there was no real opposition to his claims. The Day Age Theory is another idea, that we are discussing now, claims there are millions of years in between each day of creation, unlike the Gap Theory that only believes in millions of years between only verses one and two. The root of this argument lays in the definition of the Hebrew word for DAY, which is 'Yom'. This Hebrew word, Yom, is used 2,301 times in the Old Testament, but is only questioned in Genesis by those who have adapted the Day Age and Gap Theories. Many Day Age theorist will say this word does not mean a 24 hour period as we typically think of, but instead as an undefined period of time. Or they may even quote the verse that says 'But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.' – 2Pe 3:8 KJV There is a problem with quoting this verse to make up for God's scope of time. The verse above is really more of a visual to illustrate the fact that time does not matter to God. Because God lives outside of time, it is my opinion that this is not to be taken literally. Here is why… God created time and transcends it. God is present at the creation of the earth at the same time He is viewing the end of the earth and everything in between. God lives in eternity, where time is non-existent; something we can't comprehend with our finite earthly minds. In eternity, EVERYTHING is right now. We can find another example of this type of visual in the Gospels, illustrating the math doesn't matter when forgiving. 'Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.' – Mat 18:21-22 KJV Jesus is not actually telling us how many times we should forgive people, expecting us to actually count out 490 times and then forget about it. It's rather a picture of completion times completion; unlimited forgiveness. Jesus shows Peter that we always forgive without the thought of how many times we are forgiving. If you also notice, Peter was not only the one who asked this question, but then later wrote the phrase of 'a day being as a thousand years'. Isn't it interesting that Peter uses the same type of example that Jesus gave him during His ministry to show something innumerable? Another example might be considered when God asks Abraham to count the stars. The point God makes to Abraham was not that he actually COULD count the stars, but that it was impossible to do so, giving the same type of illustration we see in 2 Peter 3:8 and Matthew 18:21-22 stated above. 'And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.' – Gen 15:5 KJV So given these verses, it would be very unwise, in my opinion, for us to take what Peter said in the book of 2 Peter literally, especially when studying the record of creation. There are many reasons to interpret the Hebrew word Yom as being a 24 hour day. First and foremost, if God was not being clear enough, at the end of every day in creation it states very clear that 'the evening and the morning' were the end of that particular day. This leaves no room to conclude anything other than a 24 hour time period. When we read of the flood account during the time of Noah, also in the book of Genesis, we learn that it rained for 40 days and nights, the fountains of the deep poured up water from the earth for 150 days, and the flood waters remained on the earth approximately a year. All this time, Noah was in the ark waiting for God to allow him to emerge onto dry land. The Hebrew word Yom is used to describe all these days, same as in the creation week. Are we to believe that the rains and flood lasted millions of years, and that Noah spent millions of years in the ark? Additionally, if we look at the story of the Hebrews in Exodus chapter 20, God tells Moses that His people were to work for six 'days' and rest on the seventh day, just as He created the heaven and the earth in six 'days' and rested on the seventh. In the very same statement, God compares the days of work to the days of creation! Did God mean for us to work for MILLIONS OF YEARS? How many hours did you put in this week? 'Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.' – Exo 20:9-11 KJV Aside from these scriptural arguments, let's take a look at this from a scientific point of view. On the THIRD DAY God created the plants of the earth; grass, trees, flowers, etc. 'And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.' – Gen 1:11 KJV On DAY FOUR God made the sun, moon, and stars. 'And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.' – Gen 1:16 KJV And on DAY SIX God made the insects. 'And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.' – Gen 1:25 KJV Ask yourself, if there are millions of years in between each creation day, how did the plants live for millions of years before the creation of the sun? Moreover, how did they pollinate if it was even more millions of years before insects where created? This would be an impossibility. Adam and Eve were created on day six. Jesus, God in human form, states in the book of Mark that 'But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.' – Mar 10:6 KJV It would be foolish to think that Jesus is insinuating there were millions of years before Adam and Eve. As He states, they were at 'the beginning of the creation'. If Adam and Eve were created on day six as Genesis 1:27 states, it would not be considered 'the beginning' if there were millions of years before them; thus making Jesus Christ a liar, contradicting His claim to be the truth. In the book of Romans we read that death didn't enter into the world until the introduction of sin by Adam. 'Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; …' – Rom 5:12 KJV If this verse is true, is it possible to have millions of years of dinosaurs living and dying before the creation of man on day six; man being the one to introduce sin into the world? This would put death BEFORE the introduction of sin, making Paul a false teacher, and God again would be a liar. Lastly, don't forget at the end of the sixth creation day, God proclaimed that everything was 'very good'. 'And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.' – Gen 1:31 KJV Could everything be 'very good' with millions of years of death before the creation of Adam? I can't say that I would think so, and I'm not half the perfectionist that God is. Is scripture true, or did men prove God to be wrong? You Are Not Going to Heaven Because You Are a Good Person

Nearly everyone on earth believes in some form of Heaven after we die. There are many well-meaning people who believe that 'all roads lead to Heaven, just be true to what you believe'; I used to be one of these people. On the other side of the spectrum there are some who simply do not believe in a Heaven at all, and believe after we die we simply cease to exist. And finally in the broad middle you get all the religions of the world claiming their own truths about Heaven, or a type of Heaven, and what you must do to earn admittance through good works. Obviously, not every one of these views can be correct. If you think logically with any amount of intellectual honestly you need to admit that only one of these views is the correct answer. We can't simply 'believe' something into existence or truth. If I say, 'I believe two plus two equals five; that makes it true…' there is no logical thinking in that statement. You must start here in order to honestly and intellectually grasp any form of truth. You must accept that truth is not determined by any belief, anyone's feelings, or by popular vote. Truth is solidly objective no matter how you feel about it. With this established, let us look at the claims of Heaven and how to get there. First point I would like to tackle is, do all roads lead to Heaven? Many that believe this have the very misleading idea that all the religions of the world are very similar at the core. However, this could not be further from the truth. I could spend pages explaining the many stark differences of each religion, but there is one thing they do all have in common. This one thing is the idea that you need to earn your way to Heaven with your good works. But if you look even closer at this idea, there is one belief that states getting to Heaven has nothing to do with your works… Christianity. While all other religions state we have to be good enough in our deeds to get to god, or even become a god, Christianity is the only belief that states we will never be good enough, so God did the work for us. Another way to state this is while all religions are trying to reach out to god, in Christianity God has reached out to us. This alone separates Christianity far from all religions. Let's explore how… The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ was God appearing in human flesh, 'In the beginning was the Word [Jesus], and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him [the Word/Jesus]; and without him was not any thing made that was made. … And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, … ' – Jhn 1:1-3, 14 KJV I show this to emphasize the point that later Jesus is recorded as stating, ' … I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' – Jhn 14:6 KJV In other words God Himself appears on earth as a man in flesh and that no one will get to the Heaven except by Him. To build up to the point even further, let's fast forward a little more to the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus, in His last hours before His crucifixion, spent time praying that if there were any other way to save humanity, other than dying on the cross in place of us, that it may be known. 'And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.' – Mat 26:39 KJV If we sit back and examine everything so far, we have discussed that not all religions can be correct if we are being intellectually honest. Understanding that each religion has its own truth claims, of course, however, remember that Christianity is the ONLY belief where God does not require that you earn Heaven because He already did the work for us. So if Christianity is true, then it's clearly stated that Jesus is the only exclusive way to Heaven. And this is where I want to go for the remainder of this article. Now many that consider themselves Christian still believe they are going to Heaven because they are 'a good person'. This is because they do not understand what happened on the cross when Jesus took our punishment. In fact, many Christians, or even non-Christians, don't even know how Jesus is all that important to their ability to get to Heaven. Yet as you have seen above in the previous bible verses, Jesus states He is the ONLY way to the Father. The meaning of the cross has over time become so diluted down that many misunderstand its impact, leaving in its place the idea that 'as long as I'm not a murderer or doing evil intentionally that God will allow me into Heaven'. Please hear me, this could not be further from the truth! I want to tear down this idea of our good works leading to Heaven, but at the end I will build it back up leaving you with a greater understand and appreciation for what Jesus did for us on the cross. Ready… ? NO ONE IS GOOD! It doesn't matter who you are on this earth or what you have done. There is not a single soul, when measured against God's standards, that hits the mark. Read what Paul the apostle writes in the book of Romans. 'As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. … Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: … For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;' – Rom 3:10-18, 20, 23 KJV OUCH! I don't know about you, but that stings! This is speaking of everyone that has ever lived, is living, and will live. In order to fully understand the cross, this is the first feeling you need to have… the feeling of hopelessness. The feeling that no matter what you do, you'll never be good enough by yourself to deserve Heaven. Why? Because when you finally do understand this, learning the truth of how to get to Heaven is so much sweeter. You see, God already knew you'd never be able to meet His standards. He knew that in His perfect justice He would have to punish everyone for their sins. But God is so awesome in His foreknowledge that He had a plan since before the moment Adam and Eve bit into the forbidden fruit. Here in Genesis chapter three you see the very first prophecy of the coming of Jesus Christ and His redemption plan. God, speaking to the serpent, Satan, who deceived Adam and Eve said, 'And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.' – Gen 3:15 KJV God knew that sin and death were now in the world, intertwined with our flesh, and He needed to deal with the debt of sin in order to bring us back into prefect relationship with Him. Something we can never do ourselves. Why? Because our fleshly bodies BECAME SIN. That is why Jesus stated many times that a bad tree can never produce good fruit. That is our helpless condition. It's not that most of us don't want to do good things, it's that we are unable of doing good in-and-of ourselves apart from God's help. And this is where Jesus and the verse above comes in. You see, as the verse in Genesis three says, Satan plotted and killed Jesus Christ, metaphorically bruising Jesus's head. But Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death and sin, metaphorically bruising the head of Satan which is far more fatal. That was the payment that had to be made. By saying you will go to Heaven by doing good works, it is equal to saying you can defeat sin and death on your own. It's equal to a bad tree bringing forth good fruit. Without the spirit of God to overpower your flesh, you remain as sin and death. Paul writes, 'O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?' – Rom 7:24 KJV Who will save him from his body of death? Who will save you from your body of death? What is the answer that Paul gives us to this problem? Jesus Christ is the answer! But not just to know about Him, but to believe that He paid the price for your sin, took your death for you, and rose from the dead showing that whoever believes in HIS work will rise from death to a new life lived with the spirit of God inside of you. You need only to put your faith in Jesus that His work on the cross was enough to cover your debt of sin. This payment, Jesus's death in exchange for yours, allows for God to forgive you as though you have never sinned. This is given as a free gift! No works required. 'For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.' – Eph 2:8-9 KJV I would like to ask a question here. If you are a Christian, and you believe that you are going to Heaven because you are a good person and not because of what Jesus did… What was the purpose of Jesus's death? If we could save ourselves by our own works, why did God find it imperative to come down as a man and allow Himself to be brutally murdered in the most humiliating way, nailed naked to a cross after being beaten, mocked, and spit on? Afterall, Jesus did ask if there was any other way to save us from sin and death, yet the cross stands. Getting back to salvation by faith, any good works you do after accepting this gift only becomes evidence of your genuine conversion and relationship with Christ. Any sins you may do while in faith are forgiven over and over again, so long as the apology is genuine and you always strive to do better. Your body… , it never recovers from sin and death. It will always be sinful, even as a Holy Spirit filled Christian. Many may not realize that Christians have a war raging continually inside of them between their new spirit and their flesh of sin. 'For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.' – Gal 5:17 KJV Paul even writes to us saying, for the good things that he wants to do, he doesn't do them; and he does the evil which he does not want to do. 'For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.' – Rom 7:19 KJV In conclusion, when you are born again in the spirit, having faith in Jesus Christ and receiving the Holy Spirit, then your soul will be saved from spiritual death and go to Heaven to be with God forever. Not because any of us are good, but only because God is good, and He loves beyond understanding. Peace and blessings to you all.
